-Blissful silence, after a long day in the machine workshop with Mr. Mackenzie, sanding down the fine metal edges of the camera’s hand-crank mechanism.What Mr. Leopold Fitz had not expected to find, however, was his intended, Miss Jemima Simmons, with her petticoats all in a ruffle about her waist, her be-stockinged knees wide apart, toes curling in the socks, whilst her freckled bosom heaved and pinkened beneath her half unbuttoned bodice.

As the girls navigate their way through the new found freedoms the war brings to women, the Bridgerton brothers are all serving in some capacity. Penelope has been carrying a torch for Colin for years hiding her feelings from everyone especially Colin himself. How will Penelope cope with the man she loves being in danger without revealing her feelings, whilst also supporting Eloise as she worries about all three of her brothers.
As the war progresses Penelope tries to move on and Eloise is horrified to find that her heart is not as impenitrable as she always thought it to be.
Meanwhile Colin begins to realise that Penelope starting to go out with other men is very disturbing although he is clueless as to why.Series

The week after Eliza and William had become reacquainted after a month's estrangement, Eliza has him and two friends over for dinner. The next night William takes Eliza dancing, with Detective Colin Bremond along for support. Eliza and William both attract unwanted attention at The Holborn Town Hall ballroom, as they try to navigate dancing, ballroom etiquette, zealous partners and haughty women, not to mention their growing attraction to each other.
This story takes place on November 10th and 11th, 1882, just 4 days after the end of Forsaken. If you wish to, you can read the last chapter of Forsaken as I refer back to it a few times. But it is not so much a sequel as it is a continuation of that universe.
