“D’you realize,” [Crowley] said, “that we never tire of things humans get bored with on the regular?”

Aziraphale shrugged, lazily basking. “I’ve always assumed it’s that we don’t tire of each other.”

    Summary

After six thousand years of pining, an angel and a demon can finally get a few things out of their respective systems.

    “All right, you can look.”

Aziraphale let his hands drop to his lap and opened his eyes, the small, anticipatory smile on his face vanishing as he took in the scene in front of him. Crowley’s half-spread wings were limned with golden fire and under that, a vivid, inviting cream that Aziraphale wanted nothing more than to bury his face in.

“Angel?” Crowley asked, his wings lowering slightly and a hesitant frown creasing his brow.

“Oh, Crowley, you’re magnificent,” Aziraphale breathed.

Crowley relaxed at that, his lips tugging up and his wings spreading farther. “Well, be at peace, angel, for I bring you glad tidings.”

“You don’t need to do the--”

“The gladdest of tidings, indeed,” Crowley interrupted, barely keeping a straight face around the smirk that kept trying to put in an appearance, “for lo, tomorrow the bookshop opens late and tonight I’m not wearing anything under these robes.”

    Summary

A.Z. Fell is a famous (well, in his circle) Soho bookseller whose selection of volumes is the epitome of respectable (and boring) literature. One of his favourite authors is the renowned science writer A.J. Crowley, whose books on astronomy have popularized the subject — and also sell very well.
Mr Fell is overjoyed when Dr Crowley accepts his invitation to do a signing of his new book in the bookshop, but their first conversation is a disaster: for some reason, Crowley does not share Fell’s distaste for romantic literature and acts very cold when the bookseller berates the author of one of the most popular romance series of the moment, Madame Ashtoreth.
Little does Fell know that his favourite writer and the one he hates with a passion are the same person…

    Summary

He left Crawly on the wall, pleading care for the exiled humans, and wandered into the desert, alone. When night fell, he made himself a little fire, and sat hugging his knees and thinking about God, and flaming swords, and apples, and apple-red lips. He stared at the fire, worrying his tongue between his teeth and twisting his fingers, and almost didn’t notice the lonely figure approaching out of the moonless shadows to the west.
