‘The Ghost,’ he says, voice hushed dramatically, and there it is, the smile, a coy thing spreading slow as he takes a sip of his drink. ‘Everyone and their ma had a story about you, so they did. The boogey-man o’ the Western Front.’ He eyes Simon some more over the rim of his glass, from his mask down and back again, as if he’s not sure what he’s seeing is real. ‘Half thought you were just a tall tale.’
Simon huffs softly through his nose. ‘I am.’
The sergeant gives him another once over. ‘Aye, ye are...’

Soap didn't die in the tunnel that day. Eight years since he last saw Soap, Ghost's life is in ruins. All he has is a piece of paper with an address on it. He knows where he's going, he just isn't sure of the welcome when he gets there.
A fix it fic for the ending of MWIII (2023) but I hurt Ghost some more to do it. Sorry, buddy, but it was worth it. A tale of healing, growth, acceptance and love.

It was odd, though not unpleasant, to be here with him like this, to have shared a meal at the same table. He could almost forget that he was in the presence of nobility. For a passing instant, they felt less like a baron and his attendant and more like friends.
Edwardian era Historical AU in which Soap is the wayward heir to a Scottish barony, and Ghost is a manservant who has been sent by another noble to get him under control. There's a little bit of everything in this one, but above all else it is a love story.

He was known in stories to those beyond the walls of the town as a moral who had bested a monster, though very few even believed that.
The 141 had a mission, stop the Raven king before he escaped and took a form which allowed him to walk the earth. Knight Captain John Price pulled together a party of various strengths, aided by the creature who called himself The Ghost, who made even monsters quake at the mention of his name.

He’s heard—even seen it, once—the stories. It’s rare, but real, or at least an elaborate hoax, spanning countries and hundreds of years.
People brought together, Fate intervening. Everyone is supposed to have one, a red thread leading and binding them to the person they’re supposed to spend their life with, though Soap isn’t sure how true that is. No one falls in love once. But it’s not just for love, as he heard it. Maybe this is that. He’s not in love with Ghost. Wants him, sure, crushing…not something he wants to admit to in the cold light of day, but okay.

Prince Jacaerys Velaryon flies to Winterfell to treat with Lord Cregan Stark.

This is that story.
On either side of their lookout, the Wall extends further than the eye can see; a never-ending barrier of ice that shimmers even as it weeps—beautiful, yet haunting.
"Welcome to the edge of your realm," Cregan murmurs. His gruff tone has softened, the words brushing over Jace's ear in a caress, coiling heat in his belly.
The treeline echos the prince's paramour, rustling in the distance as if to greet Jacaerys. And he supposes it's an apt salute, for on the morrow, he will be the first Targaryen to step into the unknown beyond it.
The story that the House of the Dragon skipped right over; a mostly canon-compliant tale that begins with Jacaerys' arrival in Winterfell, extends through his journey up to the Wall, and will have a fix-it ending following the Gullet.

Jacaerys and Lucerys entire family was wiped out during the war between the greens and the blacks. The dragons fought a bloodied war until they destroyed each other.
Their uncle, Aegon II, was the last one standing, taking the Iron Throne and seizing Dragonstone, The Stepstones and Driftmark for himself. The shameless King they called him. Not a shred of dignity nor respect for the crown he wore. And definitely, no friend to any who stood against the Greens, hunting down any remaining supporters of the Late queen Rhaenyra Targaryen.
So, Jacaerys had no choice but to take Lucerys and flee to the North under the guise of different names.
Jacaerys called himself Jayden Strong and Lucerys introduced himself as Lucas Strong. Most importantly, they had to keep their true status as an Omega hidden, suppressing and portraying themselves as Beta scribes.
Things start becoming tumultuous when the Lord of Winterfell ordered the Grand Maester a cup bearer to be assigned to him....
