Summary
You weren't a technician, you weren't a security guard, you weren't a daycare assistant. You're just an employee. Staff. The ‘jack-of-all-trades’ employee with mediocre at best skills and specialty in none, tasked with doing miscellaneous jobs that robots couldn't do and human staff couldn't care to. The job is unpredictable, but it pays good and it's relatively easy.
Except for the part where all the animatronics are more sentient than you thought, and you're roped into a mystery surrounding the Daycare Attendants, who are bit too curious about you for your liking.

You were a nomadic type of person, moving from community to community as you worked on their solar energy and their robot workers. You were one of very few people who could do this work, you were very highly respected. Also, very highly sought after.
On your way home from helping a community, you’re being pursued by a gang of undesirable people and you had no intent of helping them.
Hiding in a building for the night, you happen across an old bot, seemingly broken. You decide to scrap it for parts, that is until the damn thing wakes up. Now you feel guilty about wanting to gut it’s parts. But what’re you suppose to do with a 9-foot-tall celestial robot? Take it home?
That seems to be what it wants.

It was desperation that had lead you to apply for the Assistant and Handler position at Fazbear Entertainment. Desperation for a job that would pay well. Desperation that made you look past the vague information that was detailed, past all the warning bells and red flags that pop up when it comes to this company and its weird past. A normal person wouldn't have gone this far, but people do strange things when they're desperate.
Getting unreasonably attached to the Daycare Attendant wasn't the plan, but here you are anyways. At least you're not the only one to get attached so quickly. Is it a good situation? In hindsight, you wondered how you’d missed it for so long. The shared bedroom, that habit they had of finishing each other’s sentences, this book of love poems annotated with such attentive detail. Hell! Even the way Otto had talked about Norman since that very first morning, so incensed about his friend's mistreatment. In those frantic moments afterward, you’d kick yourself for being so obtusely focused on your feelings to notice theirs.
But none of that had cushioned the shock of walking into that candlelit living room to find the two men wrapped up in each other’s great variety of arms, kissing as tenderly as newlyweds.
