Sososo… TFP. My absolute favourite show, the backbone of my existence. The ending ruins me more every time I watch it therefore, logically, I decided to make it even sadder for myself (but also heart-warming ..) I’m a sucker for tired scarred men finally getting to show emotions :] and Optimus DESERVES to be vulnerable around his wife. I love Elita and Optimus but in a dynamic where they are their own people and complete each-other, NOT WHERE SHE EXISTS JUST TO BE HIS GF STOP I WILL GO MENTAL.
This could count as an AU, where the G1 bots are in the prime universe and all that
I hope you enjoy!!! This is my first fic so I hope it’s decent :] criticism is appreciated!!!

Summary
My own Transformers AU where a highly dangerous Decepticon (Cobalt) crash lands on Earth and befriends a couple of human children (Kit and Dominique). A team of Autobots arrive trying to recapture their escaped prisoner, and not long after the Decepticons join in on the action. Cobalt's search for a peaceful post-war life keeps getting sidelined his fight for basic survival and keeping his human friends safe from the ongoing conflict between Autobots and Decepticons.
