Summary
The premise for Double Life was simple: for this season alone, all players would be randomly paired together and would share pain, hunger, and even death with their soulmate. That's how it was supposed to work, at least, but an oversight with the mod configuration led each player to be able to feel even the simplest touch on their soulmate's skin.

Scar has never considered himself particularly patient. Why wait and let the things he wants slip through his fingers? Oh, he can be roundabout, sure – coming at a deal head-on will just as easily scare off a potential mark, and Scar’s not in the business of losing out on trades.

He could strip Grian right here in the entryway, have him up against a wall until his back is rubbed raw by the neverending grit of this place, but– but. Grian’s fresh off a fourth kill, hardly even at Scar’s bidding but for Scar nonetheless, and in the coming days they’ll rig this entire place to blow to high heaven and take, hopefully, at least one of their enemies with it when they come knocking. His blood sings with the anticipation of it, and he’s not sure how much of that is the siren song of his red life’s bloodlust, or the much simpler desire to see Ren and his goons get what’s coming to them.
So they need to do things right, if it’s the last time they’ll do this here.
