Tendou can’t deny that it delights him.Or, ushiten coming to terms with their future plans and the things they don't want to leave behind - like each other.

Summary
“Wakatoshi-kun!” Tendou’s voice sings through the line, bright even though he must have just worked a whole shift. His stamina has gotten much better since they were younger, and even just that thought quells some of the anxiety swirling in his heart. “I almost missed your birthday! How is it, being twenty five, finally!”
“It is the same as being twenty four,” he replies, honestly.
Wakatoshi inherits a compass that points towards home.
He still gets a little lost trying to find his way.

She tells him that it sounds like he has an imaginary friend, and that at nine years old isn’t he a little bit old for this kind of thing?
He doesn’t bring it up again, though later that night he tells Tendou and Tendou’s eyes go bright, his smile sharp and pointed like a shark.
“Do you think I’m imaginary, Wakatoshi-kun?”

Summary
Ushijima frowned at the two men crowding the redhead, faces leering.
That just wouldn’t do.
He walked over to the bar, not quite sure exactly how to approach the situation, but letting his instincts guide him as much as they could in their inexperience. He stepped up to the back of the barstool and slid a hand onto the redhead’s shoulder to give him a gentle squeeze.
“I apologize for being late, I hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long.”

In which Atsumu assumes Ushijima is straight, Ushijima assumes that Tendou is his date, and Tendou assumes the big handsome man who comes to his rescue pretending to be his date is just helping get the drunk idiots away from him.

Ushijima, however, wasn’t listening. Rather, he was staring intently at the man who had just walked in. Tall and willowy, with slender legs clad in fitted black slacks. Long, graceful hands gesturing animatedly as he spoke to the other employee. Ushijima couldn’t understand a word of the rapid-fire French conversation the two were having, so instead, he took the time to enjoy the rather splendorous shade of red that was the man’s hair.

In the week leading up to the first volleyball game of the Paris Olympics, Ushijima Wakatoshi meets a handsome chocolatier, and has no idea what to do about it.

Summary
Wakatoshi always wakes up before Tendou.
He doesn’t know why, or how. Maybe there's an alarm inside of him, or perhaps his body knows that it’s the only chance he’ll get to pretend he has what he wants.
Dawn is his favorite time of day. Mornings are sacred, that brief window of the crackling dawn, because he has Tendou.
Just as he always wakes up before Tendou, so true is one other thing: Tendou always leaves.
Wakatoshi is in love with his best friend and believes there's no way Tendou feels the same in return. Instead of doing anything about it, they get stuck in a cycle of hook-ups, and every morning Wakatoshi listens to Tendou leave while he pretends to sleep.
This'll never change, he believes. Until one day Tendou stays a little later, just to watch him rest.

Oikawa asks, taunting the red head.
“How long has it been, Toshi? Eight months? I love him more and more each day”
Tendou professes as he squeezes Ushijima’s shoulders and locks eyes with Oikawa again.
Tendou loves joking around with his opponents before a volleyball match but-
“Tendou, I am so sorry.”
Ushijima simply says, and he sounds like he really means it.
Tendou is so confused. Why was Ushijima apologizing to him?
“I had no idea that the nature of our relationship was that of boyfriends and not best friends. I shall do my best to make the necessary adjustments to my behavior.”
Wait. Did Ushijima not know he was joking to Oikawa about them being boyfriends?

TLDR: Tendou makes a joke to Oikawa that he and Ushijima are dating and Ushijima actually thinks he is serious about it. This makes Ushijima realise a thing or two about their relationship and the adjustments he might want to make to said relationship.

Summary
The mission was simple: deliver the package to team D.
A mission with just two elements, and Tendou knows it will be easy, especially with the (surprisingly) calm alpha Iwaizumi, from the combat team, at his side.
But when an enemy emerges from the shadows and takes them both by surprise, Tendou is forced to seek refuge in the arms of someone he never dreamed of.
He just hopes that it doesn't get in the way of the bond he's trying to create with his team leader, Ushijima.

Where Tendou has a forced heat and, in order not to suffer the consequences of being away from his pack, he is forced to snuggle with Iwaizumi, the mated alpha of team A.
