Summary
Yoo Joonghyuk was on his way to clear a sub scenario nearby, but he wasn’t planning on going alone. Surprisingly it was him asking Kim Dokja to accompany him, instead of the other way around. He actually approached him more than once, but Kim Dokja only refused and became even more distant. Not only just with him but with everyone else within the company. More and more members became increasingly worried. Even Yoo Sangah was unsure what to do but he could feel her stare on him, as if he could be the one to help.
As he was on his way, an unknown constellation gave him a scenario to clear without a way to choose whether he wants to do it or not. As if the scenario was supposed to give him a clue on what was going on with his life and death companion.

Kim Dokja has made plenty of bad life decisions. And last night he messed up, terribly. All he remembers is going out for a drink after a long day, which was rare as he disliked alcohol, but after that, he remembers nothing. Well, waking up to a handsome man, both butt naked and sharing a bed made him remember every bit of what happened.
Unsure of what to do, he quickly dressed up and made himself look presentable enough before running out of the hotel room, straight back to his home, leaving the man back all alone in that hotel room.
He thought that would be over and that he’d never see him again.
Oh how wrong he was.
Because why is the man he shared a bed with is standing right in front of him at his workplace?

The next thing he knows, a sea of curious eyes has landed on him. His jaw is tense and his fingers have unconsciously curled into a perfect fist, and the teacher has stopped writing at the disruption. She looks somewhat nervously at the student who’d suddenly stood up during class and says with all the audacity in the world, “Is everything alright?”
On cue, Kim Dokja wobbles out of the bathroom with a freshly split lip. Their eyes meet for a split second and Yoo Joonghyuk feels his stomach drop when he slowly shakes his head.Stupid, idiotic Kim Dokja.
Yoo Joonghyuk stops a murderer's son from jumping and it's getting harder to convince himself that he cares for Kim Dokja's life more than Kim Dokja himself.

And once Kim Dokja did wake, he remained attached to him. They had a lot to speak about, didn't they? No worries, they had time now, no longer having to worry about death looming over their heads.

Yoo Joonghyuk also sees a semblance of that during nights. when there's nothing left to do but sit beside Kim Dokja's bed, watching him re-read his favorite web novel. Kim Dokja would move about, babbling to himself and even updating his story map if he can. Yoo Joonghyuk watches him till he falls asleep. The light from his mobile phone illuminates his sleeping face — finally looking so peaceful and unguarded, when all he does in the morning is mask it with indifference like it can shield him from all the unfortunate situations that keep on coming.
Sometimes, Yoo Joonghyuk can't help but wish that these moments last longer. Even if it meant Kim Dokja had to sleep more. Just to see him shed all of his worries and inhibitions for once.
But he instantly sobers up and realizes, maybe Yoo Joonghyuk just wants Kim Dokja to die already.
or Yoo Joonghyuk finds himself assigned as Kim Dokja's death guide. A job that shouldn't be hard if it wasn't for the fact that Kim Dokja still hasn't died eight months in.
