My eyes are open, unblinking, taking in a void for what seems like an eternity. My body feels like it’s rearranging itself, my mind is seeing something that should never be seen. Why won’t this end!?

All I can think of in this second of hell, all I can focus on is this agony, how much this utter wrongness is scrambling my mind. Until finally,just as quick as it started, it’s over, the void around me clears, and I am finally graced by the Sun's rays once more.

Traveling with your stardust is not so different from traveling alone. For the most part, it’s a quiet affair. Yes, there are moments of conversation. Random things. But those aren’t too unpleasant, either. Your stardust, they're a funny thing. They carve wood at night while you chat or sit in silence. They cook for you, too, occasionally complaining when you don’t offer to help, but never pushing back much.
Sometimes, they will ask something like, “What are we going to do once we make it to the King?”
If you were kinder, maybe you would have told him to travel far away rather than dragging him here. But you are selfish. And stupid as it may be, after how many times you have failed, you have to take this - this chance that the universe gave you - if not to save your family, then to save their reflections.

"The most horrific isat au btw is if the party is 100% aware theyre in a timeloop but can't actually say anything different, cause the loops took Siffrin's "script" as the only way the party could act until Siffrin breaks script and thus allows them to act differently. Imagine being stuck in your own body as it acts out past lines and actions you took as your dear friend very visibly starts to lose their entire mind and memory in front of you, and you can do nothing."
