"The important word in that sentence was bees."

Summary
One must watch their words around the Fey. The magical beings from beyond the barrier speak in riddles and half truths and they can covet every little secret they can pry from you. Giving the Fey any indication of your feelings, thoughts or even your true name, gives them power over you.
Nico knows this. His Grandmother taught him to protect himself from the wily creatures: he lays his wards, keeps himself to himself, and is in complete control. His acquaintance with the charming, amusing, (infuriatingly beautiful) Fey guard Yusuf is just that, an acquaintance. Sure, they have grown close over the years but Nico has always kept his professional distance, the incident at last midwinter notwithstanding.
And he will continue to do so. Even if Yusuf turns up at his house, late one night, in desperate need of Nico's help.

Summary
Derek stands frozen for a moment, disbelieving, before his hands come slowly forward. Its fur is surprisingly soft, and he buries his fingers in it as he strokes his way down its back. He catches its hindquarters on instinct when it springs out of the cage and onto his chest, shoving it face cold nose-first into the crook of his neck, and beneath the rumble of its purrs Derek can still make out the careful ticking of its heart.
If he leaves it here, it's going to die alone. It's a sentence he knows all too well.
“What sort of paperwork do you need me to fill out?”

Scrappy doesn't normally go into other people's dreams. It's rude, after all.
The first time he enters one of Parse's dreams, it's early preseason and Scrappy doesn't actively go in there so much as he just ends up inside. That's never happened before.
Not to Scrappy, at least. Turns out it happens a lot to Parse.

Summary
In which Stiles goes along with one of Derek’s plans and ends up in an alternate universe as a result. He should’ve known better. He did know better, actually, and that means he has no one to blame but himself.
“Laura wants to lure the kid in with food and kindness and make a pet of him, like a feral cat. Derek wants to have him arrested for stalking. They’re at an impasse. (And the rest of the family is staying emphatically out of it in a way that suggests bets have been placed.)”

The Winter Soldier is on the run and no one is more surprised than he is by the fact that he is accompanied by a little boy who seems convinced that he is his father:
“What’s that, Papa?”
Papa flinches and looks at Stefan. “It’s called a Kalashnikov,” he says, in a strange voice. “You’re not to touch it, okay?”

Summary
Eddie Brock, now slightly less of a disaster after years of living with the Venom symbiote, moves to New York City to take a job as an adjunct professor. There's a kid named Peter who keeps falling asleep in the back of his class who looks like he could use some coffee, or maybe someone to talk to.
Spider-Man just lost one mentor. He's not looking for another one.

Venom can’t remember when they first heard about symbiosis. As far back as their memories go, they have always known of it. Perhaps it was one of the genetic memories passed on to them at their spawning.
