Summary
In ancient times, the lands and humanity were protected by animal-human hybrids, Legends, that carry One For All’s spirit. Being a Legend taking the form of a ram, Midoriya Izuku travels town to town and uses his powers to weave his magical wool into healing cloth items for humans.
One day however, when hopelessly lost and injured in his ram form during a snowstorm, he's rescued by a hunter, Bakugou Katsuki. To repay his debt, Izuku shapeshifts himself as a human and presents himself at Katsuki’s door as a traveller seeking refuge from the storm.
Izuku’s plans to weave his gifts of gratitude for Katsuki and leave by morning goes awry when the storm, his sustained injuries, and the townspeople already struggling with sickness unexpectedly forces Izuku and Katsuki to cohabitate... indefinitely.
Loyal to his duties, Izuku dedicates himself to weaving for the village to help them combat the sickness. But now, by living with Katsuki and the townspeople, he’s forced to grapple with what it means to be a human, have a home, and maybe even fall in love.

In less dramatic words, all of class 1A is in the same section of physics and a lot of them are involved in figure skating or hockey. Bakugou and Midoriya are the Romeo and Juliet of the ice rink and a lot of shenanigans ensue. This fic’s main plotline follows the relationships formed in class 1A (both platonic and romantic) with Bakugou and Midoriya being at the center of it.

Entry one, ten days after waking up.
I have no memories before waking up alone on the road, not even a name, or age. I do know, though, that something is happening around me, hence the journal.
The few people I’ve met have fallen into two categories; running away the moment I’m seen, or having no acknowledgment of my existence...besides trying to touch my head. The ones that run can speak, and often talk to one another--but I have yet to remember what they are saying or how to replicate those sounds. The second group chase after the first surprisingly fast for how they shuffle during the day.
Anyway, that’s off-topic. This journal is to be used as a record of my observations of both groups, and hopefully, a place to potentially recall anything from the past I can remember. To keep this journal from being overrun with entries, new entries will only be made when something unexpected happens.

An odd pairing that makes for an interesting story when you force them together in unnatural circumstances! I am loving the dichotomy between Akaza's present and his past life nipping at his ankles! I love to see some sort of development on Rengoku, since his short role in the canon series gives us so little to work off of. I appreciate that it adheres mostly to the canon, and Tanjiro still feels like the main character even when he isn't in focus (that, or it was just me. I can't tell!)
I must say, though, I can't ever imagine Rengoku and Akaza falling in love like school girls. I don't see their hearts fluttering; I see their hands drenched in the blood of the demons they slay to form a future they would have wanted for the people they cared for.
Romantic or platonic, I've always seen them adhering to their goals. I hope a story like this ends up tragic.
That, and we need more Rengoku content at all times. There's a drought. -

I love the world building! The sword amulets are wonderful details. Although it focuses only on the most climatic moments, it still feels like I've read a full story from start to end! I'm supremely satisfied with the fact that you kept the childhood friends aspect between Bakugo and Midoriya, not to mention you included Toshinori and other facets of the main cast. You used many words and allusions that I am unfamiliar with, I believe I'll be studying this piece for a bit!

I love this author's writing style! The start is phenomenal, and I personally want to study it for my personal development. The story is cute, a simple getting together with sap and a sexual scene that I skipped like the true soldier I am... past the writing style and cute moments, however, I find myself lacking in terms of where the canon rests in this story. Perhaps I've always had a preference for more canon compliant stories, and this story is like the author took Bakugo and Midoriya and did whatever they wanted with them- they were two blank slates, like Barbie and Ken.
