"Neil," Andrew said, his voice low but firm, "this is real. I don’t know how or why, but I’m here with you. So, stop freaking out, okay?" He pulled Neil until their foreheads touched. "I need you to listen carefully," he began, waiting for Neil to nod before continuing. "I’ll go with the coach and Kevin to Palmetto, but I’ll come back as soon as possible to find you. We need to get these drugs out of my system. And meanwhile, you’ll grab your fucking bag and rent a decent hotel room to rest until your classes are over. You won’t run, and you’ll buy a damn phone. Got it, bunny?"
"Got it," Neil whispered, trying to absorb Andrew’s firmness; trying to believe in that absurd and ridiculous possibility. He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, letting the feeling of Andrew’s touch anchor him in reality. "I trust you. I’ll do what you said."

FBI Agent Andrew Minyard has been chasing after the infamous Butcher Of Baltimore for a year, many others had tried before him but were never able to make any of the charges stick to Nathan Wesninski the prime suspect or even get evidence to tie him to the murders and disappearances. Just as he's reaching his stress limit over the case, his boss, Wymack, partners him up with the aloof anthropologist Dr. Neil Josten from the Jeffersonian to help tie Nathan to the murders and finally take down the Butcher. But Andew is far more interested in Neil Josten than catching the serial killer he'd been chasing for a year. Neil was obviously hiding something and Andrew wanted to find out what it was, convinced that if he did then this infatuation with Neil would go away and he can continue living as he had been before Neil. But would that actually happen or will Andrew fall even deeper into 'infatuation' with Neil Josten as they continued to work together?

The cop turned to the woman with a roll of his eyes. “Which delinquent do you want first?”
“They are children, Officer Wright, not delinquents.” She stated, calm and collected despite the hour.
“Which child would you like to speak with first,” the cop tried again with a bite of frustration to his words. “The one that put four men in the hospital with his fists, or the one that put two men in hospital with a gun?”
The woman remained un-ruffled, turning her gaze on the cop for only a moment. “But it wasn’t his gun, was it?”
The cop decided to shut his mouth after that, gesturing to the pair of them instead and waiting for her decision.
“I’d like to speak with Mr Doe first.” She said, her eyes settling on Nathaniel.
Andrews head snapped up, anger flitting over his features before quickly being filed away again. When Nathaniel made no move to stand, he nudged him with his elbow. “I haven’t been Doe since my last stint at Juvie.” He stated, keeping his attention fixed to Nathaniel now. “I guess that means they’re referring to you this time.”

Two piercing blue eyes glared at him through the darkness. They were brighter than a set of full-beam headlights, stronger than the flashing lights of Eden’s Twilight. Andrew couldn’t tear his gaze away. He couldn’t even breathe; every movement was being tracked and analysed.
“Andrew?” Renee almost slammed into his back, startled by his sudden frozen limbs.
Her flashlight illuminated the way forward, deep eye pools morphing into something else.

Everyone becomes silent at his command. He rolls his eyes. Unbefitting of a king, but whatever. He couldn’t care less about his image in front of these people.
Years ago, the King ordered that every major profession chose a representative. One person to speak for everyone with that job in the entire kingdom. All the representatives, along with the king himself, his general, his head assistant, the high priestess/advisor, and head guard would form a council. They meet every month or so and every time, it ends in chaos.

His damp hand holding the back of Neil’s neck, fingers finding their way into his hair. The touch was somewhere between furious and worshipping, and Neil knew at that moment that “this” could never be “nothing” again. To Andrew’s annoyance, Neil guessed.
