When Luke Skywalker turns in a favor and sets up his new Jedi school on Mandalore, life for Din becomes a lot more interesting and complicated. Especially when not all of his subjects agree that Luke should be there in the first place.

A New Republic pilot recruits Din to infiltrate a suspected Imperial ship in the Mid-Rim, but somehow the Imps are ready for him. Very much not enjoying Imperial hospitality, Din’s situation seems hopeless - until another pilot flies in to save him.
“We can’t have been boarded could we?”
“No. There’s nothing out this far, and no ship could catch up with us in this nebula. It’s impossible.”
Suddenly a familiar sound is audible over the shouting and shooting, and Din rushes to the door, pushing open the flap to hear it better.
“Hey!” one of the troopers says and kicks the flap shut, but Din has already confirmed what he thought he heard.
There’s a Jedi on this ship.Can be read (mostly) independently from the previous stories in this series (see notes)

This is the start of Ilya Rozanov's evolution to full-blown Swiftie. Once he and Shane are married, Ilya converts Shane too, and ultimately the two of them attend the Eras Tour (maybe even more than once).Of course, there is no chance that our favourite bisexual hockey player is anything other than a Swiftie, and of his introduction to the fandom is with the rainbow-inspired Lover (he knew that was the right word, thank you very much Shane Hollander!)
He is more than a little upset that Scott Hunter is in a Taylor Swift music video, but when he, Shane and Rose Landry attend the Eras Tour people have a lot to say.
(He might also be more than convinced that TTPD is actually about his and Shane's relationship but no one else agrees.)

So when they rush to his apartment out of sheer panic, they expect to find their sick son. Instead, they find Ilya Rozanov in Shane’s living room. By the next morning, as the fever finally clears, Shane is left wishing that everything he did the night before had just been a crazy fever dream.
