"Hey Tommy?" Tubbo asked. Huh. He was balancing on one of those things that told you where to park your car. He was doing very bad at it. Oof. He fell. Ha. Loser.
"Yeah?" I said, stopping in front of him. His hair fell over his eyes, brown and dirty. Sticks and mud was twisted and stuck in his hair... His favorite green button up shirt was ripped and tattered, same goes for his tapped up shoes. Huh. I helped him back on his feet.
"I—"
Huh. It was like everything was in slow motion. Tubbo was flying up into the air, a car was screeching, and someone was screaming.
Then everything started at once.
Dream got out of the car.
Tubbo smashed into the lake.
Puffy yelled.
I... jumped after Tubbo.
I crashed into the lake.
I snatched Tubbo.
I tried to pull Tubbo up.

Summary
Where humans are assigned a guardian angel at birth, Dazai's immediately suspicious when he's assigned to Chuuya belatedly for some unknown reason. As for the previous guardian? Disappeared without a trace, as if they never existed. Whispers circulate, but the truth is lost to time.
All that's left is for Dazai to uncover that truth and immortalize it in history before another messenger meets the same fate.

“Who the fuck are you?” Tommy blurted out, before he could think about what he was saying.
The man’s brown eyes went wide, before he burst out laughing. “Well, that’s not the greeting I expected but, uh, I’m Wilbur. Wilbur Soot.”
“You weren’t here yesterday.” He responded in an almost accusatory voice.
Wilbur chuckled, looking around nervously “I mean, that’s usually how people work? They’re not in the same place 24/7.”
Tommy suddenly realized how ridiculous his words were and backtracked. “No, I mean I’ve never seen you here before. This stand has always been empty.”
“Oh! Yeah that’s fair, I’m pretty new.” He laughed, “I bought this stand last week, but it took me forever to set it up.”
He nodded, still wondering about the keychain, the one with Wilbur’s picture in it he found the day before. “That makes sense. Welcome to the mall. Also, sorry about toppling your stand yesterday.”
Wilbur blinked “You did what?”
