Was any of this... really worth it?
Such questions had been plaguing Scott's mind as of late no matter what he did. From the kingdom's gates to his garden and to his bed, they followed his every step.
In other words: Scott runs away from the Blue Kingdom because I said so

Summary
Scott was still breathless from laughter as Owain approached him to thank him for joining in. “Hey, what was your last name again?” the knight asked offhandedly. “Gold... Something? Smith? Spring...?”
The blond elf shook his head in amusement. “Springwell,” he corrected.
“Ah, of course, of course,” Owain said quickly, and then he was off again, headed for the stage to make a few more remarks.
Scott sat in his chair, one elbow on the table, and an odd sound started ringing in his ears. “Gold... Smith,” echoed in his mind. “Goldsmith. Scott Goldsmith...”

Summary
The only heir to the Goldsmith family and future lord of all the land, Scott is nothing short of a perfect child. Witty as a poet riddled with lung disease, sharp as the purest silver, and smarter than all his peers combined—he truly is all anyone could hope for in a heir.
And yet, no one else seems to see him that way! His hair is too curly, his cheeks are too round, his barbs are too mean, and worst of all, he is supposedly too immature for his station. Scott is ready to throw out the whole lot of humanity before he has truly debuted in society.
Until he meets one strange, mysterious man who sees him as he truly is. And everything changes forever.

Summary
In search of a bloodless end to the war, impossible as it may be, the Cure seems to offer an answer to all of the the humans' prayers. Holy water, a purified beacon, and a few choice words are all that it takes to cure vampirism from the infected parties—whether they want it or not. Rolling back the clock in a single moment.
Literally rolling back the clock, that is to say. The Cure undoes more than just the vampirism, instead bringing the person to back to before they ever even met their Sire. Physically and mentally.
The fight might be bloodless, but it is no less a struggle to be faced with the people who did so much harm; now stripped of their crimes, their memories, and their entire lives. Can the humans of Oakhurst look into the clueless faces of Scott and Owen and find something innocent within? And can Scott and Owen live with the hundreds of years that they lost?

“I was born knowing only him. I don’t even exist in this world without him. The universe has tried to kill me again and again, but no one—not even God—gets past my brother.” Abolish is the only divine thing Birdie believed in. The only person to offer a hand to her.
“Whatever happened to you, whatever you’ve done, you’re still my sister.” From the moment their parents died, Abolish sacrificed his childhood for Birdie. Again and again, he would offer his hand to her so long as she’d take his bloodied palm.

Because Birdie won’t let Abolish die, no matter what she must become. And Abolish is willing to die for Birdie, after he kills everyone in their path.
