Pepper is awesome. So few fics explore this, let alone show her as a person growing or her relationship with Tony evolving. Those that fit in moments like that are priceless, those that do more are better. Also, exploring Betty and Bruce is a great thing with far too much left unexplored. This fic does BOTH. Seriously great Pepper portrayal.

The Avengers sitcom we all secretly want. Well, maybe the Avengers hour-long action dramadey we all secretly want.Multi story, multi couple series. Series order is suggested reading order (not necessarily chronological order). You'd don’t have to read them all to read one, but they do compliment (and spoil) each other. Heavy Boots of Lead contains a series summary at the beginning if you want to skip to.
Started after Winter Soldier, generally AU, but we have adapted and reimagined Ultron and Civil War for this universe.

One of the very best on this site, bar none, for the sheer scope of things it gets right, for the "what if" of Darcy in the Avengers movie and the interesting interactions with the characters there and after, for the design and characterization of the original villains, and for Darcy's journey and interactions with Asgard and even Jotunheim. Darcy is both magnificent and believable, the range of things covered is epic, the characterization of EVERYBODY is very very strong, and the threat both ambitious and credible. If you don't like this fic, I don't understand your tastes at all. If there are still active and prestigious fanfic awards for the Avengers movie, this deserves to win 'em.

It had been an open and shut case. The killers were seen shooting the victim and were in jail waiting to be charged. Simple, up until an unknown blood drop on the victim was paternally linked to the Joker. A witch hunt is about to begin.

Brilliant premise, great grasp of the Bat-family at their best (right before NuDC) without drama messing up the status quo. This fic is better at giving me what I wanted from the comics at that time than the comics were, let alone the comics now. Stephanie Batgirl is no small part of that joy, but this is an ensemble piece (possibly starring Tim) and everyone. interacts well. Sigh. I'm very worried it may die off prematurely, but even if so, every new chapter proves it would be worth the pain of that happening.
