Summary
A gunshot. A few moments. Then stumbling footsteps make their way down the staircase. Hank draws his gun in case it’s the perpetrator, then remembers Connor doesn’t carry a standard weapon, and couldn’t have fired the shot.
The footsteps reach the bottom. Brown eyes meet his. The scene goes quiet. The only sound is thirium drip-drip-dripping on the floor.
“Th-there was…a deviant, upstairs-”
Sometimes Hank really hates his job.

Hank’s smile returned for a moment, and he clapped Connor’s shoulder one last time. “Try not to die. Come back home when it’s over.” With that, he took his hand off Connor’s shoulder and began to turn to walk to his car.
Connor froze for a moment, staring at Hank. “Home?” He must’ve misheard that. Did he mean his own home? No, that didn’t make sense. But then again, what else could he have been talking about? Did Hank have another home Connor didn’t know about? Did he intend for Connor to return to Cyberlife? No, surely not that.
Hank paused, looking back at Connor. “You heard me. Home.”

With far too many coincidences for comfort and old enemies resurfacing in the shadows, Markus has to figure out fast who he can trust. Letting North blow everything up is starting to sound like a better idea every day…

Androids are disappearing, only to die in gruesome explosions when sighted again. Hank and Connor are working off of only a few leads and even less time. Connor knows his new-found feelings will only get in the way and tries to ignore them. Failure is not an option and Connor is determined to find the culprit no matter what it takes, even if it puts him in danger.

“Sixty,” Connor states firmly, and Sixty stops talking. “...I want you to pretend to be me.”
“Wh-what?! What are you saying? I can’t do that! Connor, please, just transfer—“
“Please... I don’t want Hank to have to go through the pain of losing another son,” he admits sadly, and Sixty freezes.
(Or: Connor is dying, and he begs Sixty to pretend to be him so Hank won’t have to go through the grief of losing another son. He gives him all his memories, leaving Sixty with a new mission: Impersonate Connor.)

Summary
A series following Connor's activation of the DIASPORA protocol - scattering his mind across every digital system in reach.
Notes on the pre-setting: Hank adopted Connor and later, Nines; they've been living together at Hank's place for quite a while now. Nines is partnered with Gavin at the DPD. Gavin is now less of a jerk (though I won't go into exactly how since I have no idea myself), and occasionally socializes with Hank and Connor, usually when Nines is there as well.
This takes place possibly a year or two after canon, but it's not particularly specific. The important thing is that things were pretty stable.Stories will be ordered in chronological order, but may be written sporadically and out of order.

Hey y'all! I haven't posted in a million years and I apologize, but I've recently been inspired. My cousin (Cinnimania) got me into the game DBH, and now I can't stop thinking about it. I'm obsessed with Connor, as is everyone, and I love writing about him. I started this fic, and then my sister (byitisee) came on board to write it with me. This is our second Detroit co-write and I hope we'll have more. This is basically a Connor whump one-shot that I started randomly with no planning. I hope you like how it turned out!
