Summary
Taryan always felt she pulled the short sticks in life, but walking out of a dirty and unkept lake was a new low, even for her. Taryan would emerge from the water and stumble in the beloved story of “Merlin”.
After coming to terms of transitioning worlds, Taryan begins to think about her survival. This proves to be challenging with suspicious glances coming her way, mostly falling from the protagonist, Merlin. A secret conceiver himself, that is convinced more is at play with Taryan’s ploy of being a servant girl with “amnesia”. Taryan decides she won’t limit herself to being just a “background” character and involves herself in changing the story.
This includes saving characters' lives, starting (unexpected) relationships, and trying to lessen the burdens Merlin faces, despite his inquiries of her background. Taryan will learn not everything is predictable with neverseen characters' secrets, a reveal of a bastard son, and dark themes Taryan swears never would have seen the light of day in the story. Summary
Cenrid needs an army and peasants make expendable soldiers. An AU for what would have happened if Merlin was conscripted into Essetir's army before coming to Camelot. Merlin's not as naive as he would have been had he just been a farmer. As such Merlin knows not to wholeheartedly trust advice from strangers. Takes place at the start of season 1. Not a retelling by any means. A more haggard and rugged Merlin but still just as idiotic and the same old Arthur.

Summary
The knights had sprung to their feet. Percival and Elyan had pulled him back, while Arthur and Leon stood in front. Lancelot and Gwaine were flanking them, the latter showing none of the alcohol sickness he had been prior.
But Mordred’s eyes were fixated on the wall and the text therein.
The left option stood there, upon the wall, like a tantalizing invitation, a riddle within a mystery; the right option seemed like both a warning and a reprieve from the unknown.
Mordred suddenly found himself unable to breathe.
OR:After waking up in an unfamiliar and barren room, Arthur and the Knights are forced into solving a mystery which only brings about more questions than it answers. Worst of all, Mordred fears the secrecy of sorcery will only get more jeopardized.
