Summary
On the Hogwarts Express, Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy make one impossible mistake.
A single touch awakens an ancient soul bond—one older than blood, older than the Founders, older than either of their families. Bound together by magic neither of them understands, they begin to share emotions, dreams, and eventually each other’s pain.
Determined to keep the bond a secret, they meet only when the castle sleeps, searching for answers hidden within Hogwarts’ oldest magic.
But as the years pass and the wizarding world grows darker, the line between enemy and ally begins to blur. Some bonds are forged by choice.
The oldest ones simply wait to be remembered.

-NOW COMPLETE!-
Eight years after the death of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, Kingsley Shacklebolt is dead and John Dawlish has become Minister of Magic. All was well until the Daily Prophet begins warning of another dark uprising, Wiggenweld disappears from circulation, and fear becomes the Ministry’s most powerful weapon.
Their answer is Magical Matches—a marriage program designed to pair magically compatible witches and wizards in the hopes of creating a stronger magical population.
When Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy are paired together, they’re forced to confront old wounds, buried desires, and feelings neither of them imagined would resurface.
But Draco has been secretly, dangerously obsessed with Granger since they were children. And now that he’s been handed the one thing he never allowed himself to want, how will he keep years of carefully concealed obsession from consuming them both?

"I need to speak to your lousy, great-great-whatever grandson!"
The dark-eyed Malfoy laughed. "Close enough. Down the stairs, take three lefts until you see a painting of a Griffin Hunt."
Hermione nodded, mind already on cursing Malfoy when the portrait's low baritone halted her.
"Oh, and Dolly?"
She glanced back despite herself, unease coiling in her gut.
"It's good to see you here."
Later, she wouldn't be able to recall whether she had marched towards Malfoy, or had fled from his ancestor's grin.
--*--
Hermione Granger thought attending the Malfoy Gala was going to be a one-night affair, but Malfoy Manor never intended to let her go. Isolated and alone, she is forced to face a system where personal freedom is up for deliberation, and continuity always prevails. Her only hope lies with Lord Draco Malfoy, an utter arse caught in a perpetual power struggle with his father, and an overly accommodating Narcissa, who seems to understand the Manor better than any Malfoy man ever could. -

It was a tale as old as time. Ten years after the end of the second wizarding war, the magical marriage and children rates were at an all time low. So, the Ministry came up with a brilliant idea. Let’s force all unmarried wizards and witches between the ages of 22 and 40 to get married and procreate!
And as fate would have it, Hermione Granger was been matched with Draco Malfoy.
Over the course of a decade, Draco had been getting into some illegal activities while on house arrest. In the wake of marrying Hermione Granger, those crimes might come and bite him in the ass. -

While on a mission she had no business being on, Hermione is captured and now lives at the mercy of the monsters she has spent the past five years of her life fighting in a war. Soon, those are not the only monsters she faces, as the ones in her mind work to break her resolve, seeking an easy way out. In the course of her battle with both her enemies and herself, she finds out things that she hadn't thought possible, things that make her question who she is at her core. To figure out how to manage her new reality, she has to pick up old allegiances that force her to confront a question she believed she’d already answered: can every person be redeemed, or are some betrayals too deep to forgive?
A story about love, betrayal, and the cost of forgiveness.

Summary
After war and loss, Draco just wanted to learn how to parent his son. He didn't expect to fall for the woman he was supposed to hate.
Welcome to part II and (maybe?) the final part of my first fic. This installment is mostly from Draco's POV, but it's not a retelling of the part I. It's a continuation. Things are good between our dream couple but the past will haunt them and try to tear them apart.
I recommend checking out part I to see Hermione's POV off their reconnection and courtship.
I wanted to write this because the Dramione fandom tends to be a little dark. Let's face it, we love the angst and the drama, but sometimes we need a little palate cleanser between traumas.
I also wanted to see where a story with healed characters who were capable of accepting love led me. To see what it looks like when these two have done the work and found each other when they're at a good space in their lives.
Thanks for reading and please comment (be nice, I'm a newbie.) Also I'm writing this on my phone and editing as I go, so please be patient. I will fix typos as I find them.

Draco had his back pressed against the wall and Granger had her own back pressed firmly and completely against him. This alone was already awkward enough for them both but when the couple on the other side of the bookshelf started doing more than just snogging even breathing became awkward.
The sounds! The fucking sounds! For Salazar’s sake can’t they keep it down!
“Oh Merlin, this can’t be happening.” He heard Granger whisper in front of him.
My sentiments exactly Granger!

Please mind the trigger warnings.
Draco Malfoy hadn’t expected to ever see Hermione Granger again. Six months after the war, with Harry Potter dead and the Malfoy name barely spared from Azkaban, Draco returns to Hogwarts for a memorial ceremony he has no intention of attending. Instead, he finds Hermione alone, pregnant, and grieving.
Draco is forced to confront what his family knew, what they ignored, and how deep the rot in his own house truly went.
For Hermione Granger, the war did not end when Voldemort fell, and for Draco Malfoy, the greatest mercy he can offer may be staying far away from her.“So you did nothing.”
“Yes. I did nothing,” he snapped. “I was sixteen, and I did nothing. Then I was seventeen, and I did nothing. Then I stood in a courtroom while people called what I did brave because I failed to identify you properly. I did the smallest decent thing possible after years of cowardice, and they let me live for it. So no, Granger, I don’t expect you to think me innocent. I don’t even expect you to think me human most days.”
She blinked at him, her eyes glassy and unseeing.
"Come have tea at the manor."

Summary
The war ended ten years ago. Five years later, while working for the Department of Mysteries, Hermione discovers information that leads to her walking away from the wizarding world. A curse prevents her from speaking about the details, and she does her best to live a boring, muggle life.
A chance encounter five years later with Draco Malfoy in a bar, reignites her fire. With his help, she begins to find her way back into a world that wasn't built for people like her.
Sometimes, things have to be broken before than can be fixed. Great in theory, a bit harder when the broken thing is the Ministry, and the only person willing to fight with you used to be your enemy.
This is a slow burn, but good things are worth waiting for.

Draco Malfoy’s life is pretty perfect.
Wildly wealthy. Devilishly handsome. A veritable parade of witches at his beck and call. And best of all, Hermione Granger is his very best friend in the world.
It’s all exactly as it should be. That is, until Granger leaves on a six-week work trip to America, and Draco realizes maybe best friend isn’t quite enough anymore.
Worse still, when she finally returns, it’s with a hunky cowboy-billionaire fiancé in tow. With his heart ripped to shreds, Granger decides to light it on fire as well:
“Will you be my maid of honor?”
Draco has got to stop this wedding. Even if that means being the one to plan it.
