He swayed with the heavy wind buffeting the Liyue cliffside. Another storm was coming, if the thick smell of humidity and the rolling clouds in the direction of Inazuma were anything to go by.
Guyun stone forest lay before him, a thousand years of harsh winds and acidic rains weathering the ancient stone pillars into rounded mounds. Water levels rising continuously had also done their part in drowning the remnants of an age so far gone even the people of the current time would likely fail to recall it in records.

Rex Lapis makes his proclamations, and for Keqing, it is in one ear and out the other. But then, as he makes to ascend into the clouds once more, he looks at Keqing. Amber eyes bore into her, as a miner would ore. Keqing’s breath hitches.
“You look like you have something to ask me, Lady Yuheng,” he says, whiskers floating in strange, dizzying patterns. The crowd quietens, eyes all on Keqing.
Keqing exhales and faces him directly, eye to eye. “Rex Lapis has watched over Liyue for a millennium,” she says slowly.
“Indeed,” Rex Lapis says. “A millennium, and more besides. But that is not truly what you wish to say, is it?”
The penultimate Rite of Descension, before Rex Lapis falls.

With a final wave, Ganyu turns to head back towards Yuehai Pavillion. Just as she begins to ascend the stone steps into the building, however, she hears the distinct sound of a loud splash. She turns around, perplexed, to see Aether standing in one of Yujing Terrace's ornamental ponds.
"Aether?" Ganyu calls, bewildered. "What are you—"
Aether turns around at the sound of her voice.
He is holding a fish in both hands.
Ganyu blinks once, and then twice, but the bizarre sight does not go away. Aether just blinks back at her with an equally puzzled expression.
Ganyu blinks a few more times.
"Aether," she says slowly. "Are you… catching fish with your bare hands?"
Aether does video game things while other characters watch with growing bewilderment.

Sweet Tsaritsa, he thought, half-dazed, if this is how I die, I'll go willingly.
In which Zhongli is a Geo construct created by Guizhong, the first Geo Archon of The Seven, who gained sentient upon inheriting her Gnosis and will upon her passing. Losing his Gnosis means his death.
Childe is the youngest Harbinger of the Fatui, tasked with a mission to

Dan Heng pulls himself out of the snow drift he fell into, coughing and sputtering. Dusting snow off of his coat, he glares at the hysterically laughing Stelle. “Of course not! Stop being ridiculous.”
“Are you sure? Or is this another ‘Dan Feng is her dad and I’m not him’ situation?” Stelle pulls herself together, but just barely. “You were talking about all that stuff about the old Imbibitor Lunae and his sin and breaking the cycle of reincarnation and stuff so I kind of figured…”
“You figured wrong.” Dan Heng snaps. “Besides, Vidyadhara reincarnate. We can’t bear children.”
“Believe me, I’ve heard plenty about your infertility,” Stelle rolls her eyes. What does she mean by that? “But you’re still Bailu’s dad, I think.”
Bailu stows away on the Astral Express. They take the long way back to the Luofu.
