He ended up applying to other jobs in hopes to hear back from someone, but the job market wasn't great, when was it ever. He checked his spam, digging through junk mail and promotion alerts in hopes for something.
And there it was, a response letter back from 13 Nights at Dema, that dated by two weeks ago.

josh was quiet and kept to himself. he was kindhearted and passionate about his future. he wanted to teach elementary school. he loved kids, and he wanted to positively impact their lives and be a voice for them. he was a good student who tried his hardest to obtain all of the information the professors gave him. it came easy to him.
except for when there was a blabbering mouth sitting in the seat behind him.
tyler was the opposite. he was loud and obnoxious. he didn't seem to know how to shut up, or even lower his volume. he spent the whole class going on and on to his buddies, usually about their next party, how blackout drunk tyler got the previous weekend, or which girl he fucked the previous night and who was next. josh didn't think he had much of a future. he didn't even know why he was taking this class, or why he even showed up. attendance wasn't even mandatory. he could easily just forge all of his work from the comfort of his dirty frat house.

That is until a video resurfaces from his college days and the press get their hands on it.Josh has been been a dancer for seven years and openly gay for thirteen.
Though he looked more like he should be at a rock concert rather than a queer club with his colored hair, piercings, and tattoos.
He preferred greasy Taco Bell and jamming out to Blink-182 in the shower. Working on his motorcycle or taking his truck out to go hiking with his dog.When Jenna and Debby force the boys to meet one night at Josh's work, Tyler is shocked to see a dancer on the stage that flips his viewpoints upside down. Dancing to 3OH!3 rather than some Ariana Grande song or Britney Spears.

Summary
Tyler Joseph lives by one code. Some would call him a murderer, but he would call it doing the world a favour. Murderers, rapists, and other horrible people that fall through the cracks of the justice system—you name it and he makes them disappear. It's not completely a secret though. Tyler's somewhat of a self-proclaimed journalist, and every time he kills, he makes sure to upload an entry to a website made specifically as an 'outlet for murderers'.
Joshua Dun, a homicide detective, also lives by a code. The code of justice. When he's assigned lead detective on the hottest task force, the Columbus Carver, he's determined to prove himself, and hopefully inspire others. This includes Tyler's younger brother, Zack, who looks up to Josh as a role model on the task force.
For Tyler, having a cop in the family means that he knows what and what not to do. It's perfect. However, things become complicated when Tyler begins to research the lead detective he hears so much about, only to find out that Detective Joshua Dun is not only awfully hard-working and determined, but also undeniably attractive.
But what happens when Tyler finds himself with thoughts (and some feelings), that he can't just kill?
