“Well you’ve got to do something,” Liam argues. “It’s not like your perfect guy is just going to suddenly appear right in front of you.”
“Central to Tommo,” his radio crackles. “There’s a guy who looks like he might be getting into trouble directly in front of the tower.”
Louis and Liam both immediately turn to their left, and squint out into the surf. After scanning the waves for a few seconds, Louis spots a guy bobbing around quite a way away from the shore.

Summary
The first time it happened, Harry had assumed that it was an honest mistake.
The second time it happened, Harry thought it must have been a coincidence. Perhaps if he hadn’t been such an eternal optimist, the possibility that someone was stealing his food might have occurred to him a bit earlier, but Harry had a great deal of faith in the goodness of his fellow students, and so he continued to believe that it was an accident.
But by the third time he had returned to an empty microwave, Harry was starting to realise that someone was stealing his mac & cheese on purpose.

Louis brings up Harry’s profile on his screen, and shit. He’s gorgeous. Harry is exactly the kind of guy who doesn’t need an app to get dates, he probably has people falling all over him at the supermarket.

Louis turns up at Nick’s door on Saturday night, carrying a bottle of wine that he’d picked out at random at a Sainsburys on the way there.
He’d spent ages trying to figure out what you were supposed to wear when you’re going over to somebody’s house so they can thank you for looking after their dog but really you were effectively keeping their dog hostage and you also think that that person is really cute and you’re trying not to be weird about it. His Google search had been, perhaps unsurprisingly, not very helpful.
Or, the one where Pig turns up on Louis' doorstep one day, and Louis has a crush.

Today, Harry was baking triple-chocolate brownies, because they were his husband’s favourite. It was an old family recipe, one Harry had made dozens of times before, and it was always a crowd pleaser. He measured out the chocolate into his bowl with even more care than usual, because he needed these brownies to be perfect. He needed them to be so amazing that maybe they would give Louis reason to pause when he came home tonight and inevitably demanded a divorce when he found out the awful thing that Harry had done. Although, he thought, that did seem like a lot to ask from a brownie, even a really delicious triple-chocolate one.

Just as Louis was checking his watch for the thirtieth time, he heard the front door open, followed by an ominous crash. Fearing the worst, Louis bolted to the door, but instead of finding a crying child as he expected, he was greeted by the sight of a tall, decidedly adult person lying facedown on Louis’ mum’s hallway floor, tangled up in a red sparkly cape.
“Oops,” said the red sparkly lump, flailing around for a second before freeing one of their arms and pulling the cape away from their legs. And, whoa – definitely not an old guy with a creepy moustache. Harry the Magnificent was hot.
In which Louis’ siblings are having a birthday party, and Harry is the professional magician hired as the entertainment.

It seemed only logical that Louis introduce himself, but the handsome stranger wasn’t paying him any attention at all, completely engrossed in the book he was holding in his lap. And, hang on – that was his book.
Louis is an author, heading out on his first promotional tour. On the plane, he ends up sitting next to a gorgeous stranger who is reading his book.
