After an incident where Chongyun's parents find out he still hasn't gotten his yang energy in control enough to preform proper exorcisms, they ban him from his work. Desperate to get strong enough to do what he loves, the young exorcist hatches a plan to find Conqueror of Demons, Adeptus Xiao, and ask him to train him. With much effort this goal is achieved, but things don't exactly go as planed. It'll all be worth it in the end for Chongyun to become stronger, or at least that's what he hopes.

Ganyu shuts her eyes briefly, basking in the whispers of nature until her ears perk up to voices by the riverbank. She quietly treks down, peering from behind a tree, only to sag in relief at the sight of the traveler, Aether, his travel companion, Paimon, and that recently hired consultant from Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Mr. Zhongli, she remembers his name, when they had made brief introductions in the harbour not long ago.
She could not avoid the sudden unexplainable ripple of familiarity rolling within her at the sight of Zhongli as she draws nearer to them. There is a tugging ache on her chest, a strange feeling of familiarity to his aura, something akin to—
No. He is dead. She is projecting her illusions to a mere mortal. She refuses to think about him and pushes the thought far, far away.
Or
A rewrite and a very self indulgent continuation of that part in the "A New Star Approaches" Quest where Ganyu meets Zhongli and the traveler when they pick Glaze Lilies. A smol revelation and reunion ensues.

Surprised by the sudden and completely unsolicited comment, Xiangling looks up from her wok, tracing her father's eye to said Mr. Zhongli, leaning over an antique vase at one of the roadside stores. In her time at Wanmin Restaurant, however, she has certainly seen her fair share of strange customers, so after a moment, she just turns back to her frying, flipping the xianbing in the wok over one by one.
"Why do you say that?" she asks, reaching across the counter for the cooking oil.
"Dearest daughter," Chef Mao says then, "he is lecturing the seller on the origins of his own vase."
Liyue Harbor is hive full of incorrigible gossips. Xiangling navigates the rumor mill, goes ingredient hunting with Zhongli, and in the process, finds out that Zhongli is very, very bad at pretending to be human.
