As far as bad ideas go, Ezreal isn’t sure if this is the best bad idea he ever had or the worst.
The idea on its own is not bad, it’s just that Ezreal’s options are quite limited. Currently, he faces two clear options:
(1.) He can go to his ex’s birthday party and be a mature adult that doesn’t mind showing up single.
Or, (2.) He can ask Kayn to pose as his boyfriend for one night.
One of those options is clearly worse than the other, but Ezreal for sure cannot pinpoint which one exactly is the bad one.

He needn't have worried. The small one was strong.
He sees the human many more times since then. It seems as if the herd doesn't venture out without it. He wonders if that one is the pack-leader. It seems logical, but humans are not always creatures of logic.
He forces back memories of that one, and continues to shadow the herd whenever it ventures out. He makes a habit of waiting in the small grouping of trees near the gate so as not to miss one of their outings. Eventually he learns to distinguish the small one from the others even before it takes to the air, and he feels proud of this accomplishment.
Months later, only hours after the humans had returned behind their walls, everything changes.
(In which Eren is not a human that can turn into a Titan, but a Titan that can turn into a human.)

“It’s an honor to meet a god…” Jesse’s voice trailed off uncertainly, a slight question on the tip of his tongue lacing with the tone of his sentence. He watched in awe as the man’s eyes lit up in subtle amusement at his statement, and nearly had a heart attack when his heart jumped as the creature was suddenly folding himself into a kneeling position next to him, so that their knees were almost touching. In an instant Jesse became hyper aware of his presence, of his heat, of his smell; he couldn’t help but fidget when his eyes rose up to meet the man’s sharp, knowing gaze.
“I am no god,” his voice, too, was celestial. The closest thing he could compare it to was silk or the calm waters of a lake… and Jesse swore he could drown in it.
“An angel then, surely?”
The statement was his undoing. The comment pulled a chuckle out of the creature next to him and it rendered Jesse lost, lips parting in a soft gasp that barely got past his throat. Had he any shame left, he might have blushed to at least show that he knew he was acting like a schoolgirl. But he was enjoying every goddamn second of this more than he should have been, and no such thing happened.
“No, not an angel either."

Summary
Hanzo Shimada joins Overwatch to gain information about Genji with the possibility of facing his depression and shame about the fratricide he committed to mend things with his brother. He knows how to cope with the intrusions in his mind, but some days get the better of him and his functionality dwindles to none. From the moment Hanzo meets Jesse McCree things get a little better, things get a little easier, but with confiding in someone also brings up painful memories that Hanzo has to face and learn to accept and fight through. Even when he doesn't want to, especially when he's beat to shit. The friends he gains trust him with their lives, but when Hanzo is in dire need of support from his brother and comrades he doesn't believe they can help him. That is, not until Jesse knocks some sense in to him, and more than once. Hanzo finds his family and learns to trust and love those who care for him, even when his brain tells him otherwise.

“Man, I didn’t know ya could shrink your spirit dragons like this. How come ya haven’t brought them out before?” McCree asked, watching the two creatures play with adoring look on his face. Hanzo petulantly ignored the voice in the back of his head telling him he wanted McCree to look at him like that, and decided to answer instead.
“I cannot. They come and go as they please, all I can do is ask for them to appear. If they choose not to show, there is nothing I can do about it,” he said, frowning at the dragons when they stopped their playing simply to look at him with blank expressions yet again. Then, in unison, both of them moved their eyes to McCree, who chuckled at their antics. “They have not manifested like this in almost thirty years. I do not know why they are here.” Hanzo added.
