Summary
Something as simple as chasing a smile in a moment of stress is all it takes. Adrien wasn't looking for love, he was just a cat trying to satisfy his curiosity. Events diverge from the end of S4 into a brand new AU.
Adrien and Sabrina become fast friends, and as time goes by much more. Marinette struggles with her confession and the pressures of being Ladybug on top. Shadowmoth and later Monarch becomes a new force to be reckoned with as he finds new and horrible ways to use the powers of the stolen Miraculouses.
Relationships shift and grow, old rules are tested and ultimately Ladybug learns to make new rules. Even after a climactic struggle with Monarch things are not over however...

Lila always tried her best to be the best person she possibly could to Marinette. The girl was the personification of love through and through, and she'd do anything for her. Including lie to a class of people and potentially ruin her future, because there was no way that the people she had heard about from Marinette's stories would ever believe a lie so flimsy and stupid.
But, if they did, she'd make sure Marinette felt a vindictive satisfaction when they all burned to the ground.

He wasn't sure what exactly was going through Poppy's head in going on a run solo, but she was...doing pretty good, so he couldn't judge.
