Summary
Modern AU. Ketterdam is an unkind place to be young—although, in fairness, it's an unkind place to exist. The Crows carve out a place in the world which never made one for them via road trips, improbable heists, creative insults, and many, many games of cards.

Summary
The love was there. It wasn't enough to save Jonathan Sims and Martin Blackwood, or revert their world, or prevent their tragedy. Nonetheless, it was there, and it has a much further-reaching influence than one might expect.
(Basically, Jonmartin and the Fears do not make the journey between somewheres in one piece, but those many pieces get a whole lot of mileage and make all the difference).

Summary
"The first winter that Inej is back on the Wraith, however, it snows not once but twice.
The first snow is a passing nothing—the Crow Club is quiet, construction on the Six is slowed, a stubborn ache nests itself around Kaz’s knee, and the streets are covered in puddles and slush by noon. The second falls when she’s on shore at Jesper and Wylan’s."

Summary
"The marks were there, after all, clear as day—some black with destiny, others colored with a fate already found."
It seems impossible. After all, the black marks that they bear are supposed to be the first place their soulmate will touch them someday. But Kaz and Inej both have to wonder—who would want to be the other half of a broken soul? Who would dare to touch the untouchable?
Why would they obey the laws of fate, determined as they are to break all the others?

Summary
“Is that a body,” Tim blurts before he can stop himself, rising to his feet. Martin looks, if possible, even more scared.
“He’s alive!” he hisses, almost defensively. “It’s not - it’s not Gertrude again, I didn’t kill him, he just – I don’t know what happened to him, I just found him in the stacks like this.”
“And you dragged him up here?” Tim says, and then registers several things at once – the build, the hair texture; the little round scars peppering a pair of thin hands and an awfully familiar face. “Wait, is that Jon?”
----
Jon stumbles back into an earlier Archive, looking for a way to fix the world. (Or, mom says it's my turn for the obligatory time travel au)

“...Sure,” Martin replied glumly. He wondered if this is how all those french people felt, back in the days of guillotines. “Huh— How do you think I should introduce myself to this Archivist, anyway? They are going to be my boss, technically speaking, so I suppose I can at least try to make a good first impression…?”
The look Tim and Sasha shared was… Certainly something.
“I don’t think introductions will really be required,” she said, delicately.
“Right. Ok. Sure. Do you know what their name is? I ought to at least know that, right?” Martin pressed on, voice tinted by desperation. “Mr. Bouchard wouldn’t say—”
Again with the look. Martin was going to scream.
“Don’t you worry about that, bud,” Tim said with a very forced, nervous little grin. “The Archivist is just The Archivist. Just get in there and… Godspeed?”
----
Moved by desperation, Martin accepts a job he's perfectly aware is bad news, but maybe... It won't be as such for long.

Summary
“Do you know much about cataloguing?” Jon asks, a little out of breath from the stairs.
Martin, mid-trolley, rolls his eyes. The gesture he makes at the shelves around him is only emphasised by the book he’s holding.
“What exactly do you think I do here, other than sit around and wait for angry patrons to yell at me?”
“Think of what you’re going to yell back?” Jon says, and Martin’s mouth twitches into a smile.

Asking the very important question: what if Jon and Martin had a gentle archives/library romance, and kept running into tropes? What if there was mutual pining involved? Only one bed? Fake dating? Hurt/comfort? Or perhaps, a soft and happy ending?

Summary
Jon wouldn’t say he’s happy, what with Martin being so upset, but his concern is underpinned by how strangely good it feels to be able to have hard days in the normal way; to lament bad weather and wet socks; to have problems that are nothing a lazy night in and good company won't fix. They fought so hard, to have days like this.
or: Martin has a day as mundane as it is long. Jon rises to the occasion.
