Summary
Edwin finally caught a glimpse of Charles’ eyes.
They were dilated, blown giant, the black of his pupils almost reaching the very edge of his irises, leaving only a terribly thin ring of his brown eye color. A new fear seeped into his chest.
"Charles? Charles, talk to me." Edwin begged, helping him to stay upright.
Charles’ mouth moved again, incoherent mumbling escaping his lips, his body lulled back against Edwin's chest as he knelt behind him.
That’s when Edwin suddenly realized. Charles had only had three beers tonight, and half of the one he had abandoned at the bar. That should definitely not be enough alcohol to impair him so drastically.
Charles had been drugged.
Edwin and Charles go clubbing, things take a dark turn when Charles is drugged. Rushed to the hospital, Edwin must care for his friend, but does so at his own expense.

__________Dream stood scanning the disorderly bookcase in front of him, frustration boiling within him. For all the situations he had been in throughout his eons of life, this one was quickly climbing to the top of the list for the worst. He looked down again to see a physical form that was not his own.
When he had awoken several hours prior he had quickly realized a few things.He was not in his own physical form, but that of a demon.
He did not have any powers, his own or otherwise.
And he was in the waking world.

The raven shifted his weight nervously, thinking of how to broach this topic. He had thought he was doing well in his adjusting to life in the Dreaming and as Lord Morpheus’s Raven, but this was something new and strange.
“Well…Alright, I don’t know how to go about this so- fuck it- do flowers normally grow in your hair?”

"So.. you're serious? You're actually making 1,000 paper cranes?" Hob asked, staring at Dream's delicate hands as they folded the paper carefully and with precision.
"Yes." Dream replied with a weak smile.
"What do you want to wish for, anyway?" Hob asked, his heart slowly growing heavy for a reason he couldn't quite put his finger on. Maybe he was hurt that Dream felt he had something to wish for so desperately, when Hob felt like he couldn't possibly wish for anything beyond what he already had right there in his room.
Dream closed his eyes for a moment before answering.
"It is a secret." He said quietly as the sun began to escape below the horizon.

Lance was officially weirded out. By Keith. Keith was acting very weird.
But it was a subtle sort of weird that no one else seemed to have noticed, the type of weird that would make the others think that he was weird for noticing it in the first place.
Keith didn’t rise to any of his jabs. Keith didn’t poke fun at him. Keith followed Shiro’s orders to the letter and didn’t pull any dangerous stunts. Keith barely even talked.

He is the half-breed son of the woman who murdered my sister. He is the leader of Voltron. No, I am not going to touch him…I am going to break him.”
Or: Two years after season 8, a Blade mission goes wrong, and Keith is perceived to be dead. Lance refuses to believe that, and goes in search of him. What he finds, however, is worse than anything he imagined.

Summary
A few months after their return to London from Port Townsend, the Cat King shows back up in Edwin’s life. He’s bent on courting Edwin, and has somehow acquired a magical collar that allows them to properly feel each other. Edwin meets him in secret, unsure of whether he’s ready to tell Charles about the relationship.
In the meantime, business at the Dead Boy Detective Agency continues. They receive a case where a woman is trapped between life and death, tethered between the mortal realm and the beyond by a cursed sorcerer.
But there may be more going on than meets the eye, and an Endless pulling strings from the shadows…

”Ah, trying to avoid being a demon magnet, Crystal?” Edwin asks primly.
To her credit, she doesn’t bite. “Yeah, Edwin. Actually I am. There are a few experts here in London who can do some powerful warding magic. Why are we worried about this?”
Charles decides to take over. Even though Edwin and Crystal are starting to evolve in their friendship, his best friend can still be very territorial about cases.
”So, Kian’s professor here was always a real good guy, but the Inn he owns is warded against literally everything, and they’re worried about him, right mate?”
”Yeah, you got it. I have unfinished business he can help with, but only if he’s safe. Dr. G really helped me when I came out as non-binary. He’s an ally. And well, I just want him to be okay. I mean ordinary people don’t get caught up in this supernatural stuff do they?”
”They do at times, and often it is indeed a problem. I am glad you brought this to us.” Edwin looks to Charles who nods. “The Dead Boy Detectives are glad to take on your case.”
**Charles and Edwin take on a case where they will need to confront a whole new realm of the supernatural in London, while also navigating their feelings for each other. Complete.
