Summary
No comms and no time. The word run had barely escaped his lips before the first grenade went off. Soap felt the explosion more than heard it, the shockwave sending him flying to a nearby wall followed by a heat so fierce down his left arm that it felt like he had dipped it into a pot of molten lava. The scream he's sure he let out was overpowered by the roar of the explosion as it finally reached him.
Then came the shaking and shuddering of the old building they were in, as it gave one last unholy groan before everything around them was suddenly collapsing down around them. The last thing Soap had heard was the screams of his team before a piece of concrete came down and hit him in the head, turning the world in front of him black. His last thoughts were that of a tall, broad shouldered-man with a masked face.

Tommy "Theseus" Soot is the seven-time champion of the seasonal tournament hosted in Hypixel's Arena. Each season, he hopes to be paired with his best friend Ranboo, but the two never seem to get lucky enough. This winter, Tommy hopes for an easy eighth win to make his win streak two years long. When he's paired with temperamental Technoblade, who looks like he could kill someone with a glance, things start to seem like they might go south. Quickly.

Summary
For the first time in years, Wilbur wakes up alone. The room is dark with the night, and silent without Techno’s soft snoring. When Wil looks to his side to search for his brother, he finds a little slip of paper instead.
On the paper, he finds a confession.
He finds that his brother has been bit.
(Or, zombie apocalypse AU in which Techno and Wilbur have grown dependent on each other through survival. Techno ends up getting bit, and as a result, he leaves Wilbur in a safe town so he won't put him at risk.
Wilbur doesn't agree with being left behind. They will stay together, through everything. Even something like this.)

Technoblade is on the ground. Technoblade is on the ground, bleeding, and he’s surrounded by half a dozen men. Phil’s wings beat against the air once, twice—and then Technoblade screams again, and he’s diving toward the ground with a shriek that rips from his lungs with the force of a freight train. It shatters the sounds of battle, pulling heads up from their fights, making even the men surrounding his friend pause, eyes widening as the Angel of Death streaks toward them, a blur of dark feathers and extended talons tearing through the sky.
They have half a second to stumble away before he’s on them.
