“Okay, so you know that… thing, tonight?”
”The dinner you’ve rescheduled two times?” Vox bit his fist to muffle his shrill scream of agony as he held the phone at arms length, until he composed himself enough to continue.
”Yeah, so- It seems like I might have, somehow, uh-” He clawed at his desk with his free hand, before practically forcing the next words out through the most wobbly smile of both his lifetimes, ”double-booked myself, so I won’t be able to…” Only to trail off right at the end, voice getting smaller with each word.
“…make it.” Silence. Vox looked up to stare at Angel and Valentino and tried to silently communicate that this would be the last time they ever saw him.
Forgetting a date is bad enough, but when said date is with the Radio Demon? You'd better be good at apologies. Thankfully, Vox was fucking great at apologising, he had done it like a million times!

Summary
When Lucifer finds himself isolated in his room, curiosity gets the better of him as he begins to experiment with Alastor’s shadow. Unbeknownst to the monarch, a physical bond between the Radio Demon and his entity is in place. Miles away in an assembly of Hell’s most powerful, Alastor is hit with a wave of sensations that shatter his usually terrifying composure. Storming back to claim what's his, Alastor subjects the King to an exhausting night of dominance, forcing Lucifer to learn the consequences of playing with things that belong to the Radio Demon.

At the next lingering glance, Alastor leans back in his chair, crossing one leg over the other. The action clearly makes Vox regret looking, and he snaps his gaze back to Valentino so quickly he may have pulled a muscle. Time to strike.
“Is it working?”
The way Vox tenses at Alastor’s question is gratifying, almost as much as the look of utter confusion on his face when he turns back. “What?”
“Is it working? This little demonstration—is it making you feel powerful?”

“Breathe through your nose.”
Alastor does.
“See! You’re doing great!”
Lucifer pinches his arm, and Alastor’s escape attempt shoves the frozen treat hard against his palate. His throat spasms. He coughs and bites down on the popsicle filling his mouth. A chunk of ice comes away and slips invasively down the back of his tongue.
He’s still hunched over the kitchen sink, eyes watering, hands sticky with melted popsicle and his lips smeared bubblegum pink when Vincent walks through the front door exactly 103 seconds later.
“….what the fuck are you two doing?”
Lucifer doesn’t even blink as he continues rubbing circles into the soft skin between Alastor’s shoulder blades.
“Practicing!” He exclaims brightly.
…Alastor is going to kill him.

Alastor couldn't say for certain how many times this had happened; but it was no surprise to him when Lucifer crept into his room in the middle of the night, shutting the door at his back with a click and barely daring to breathe, lest he break the illusion that they were both indulging in.
The illusion that Alastor wasn't expecting him.
He didn't know why – of all people – Lucifer was the one he let touch him. The person he pressed against the hands of rather than pulling away, the man with whom he spent these illicit hours which neither of them mentioned in the morning.

It's only 20 short minutes before Alastor has to rush off to do his radio show, but Vox has an idea. A very bad idea. But Charlie did say he should do anything possible to convince Alastor to actually talk.
What if...he spiked Alastor's drink? Just a little bit. Just to get him to loosen up.

“No.” She watches Val take a lazy drag as he observes the unfolding dumpster fire that is their living room. “I thought we decided he was ace or some shit. Put it on his Hellpedia and everything. God, this is gonna fuck up the-”
“He's sex-curious!” Vox insists, “Like how you fuck me because you're men curious!”
Velvette's voice pitches up, “I am not! men-curious! I've had men!”
They may not be in this together, but they are in this for each other and that's what counts. PWP with a little bit of fluff and drama, Alastor WILL lose his virginity and everybody will have an identity crisis about it.
