Summary

He folded the bloody rag he had used to clean his newly-stitched thigh and set it into a worn duffle bag. "I spend most of my time in the lab nowadays so I haven't had much free time to call. I'm sorry, anija." Picking up his shotgun, he started the process of dismantling it on the cheap hotel bed he was sitting on so it could be properly cleaned.
"I may be able to come home sometime this summer, though.”

Summary
Obito arrives a few moments earlier when Rin jumps in front of Kakashi’s chidori. He’s still too late to save her, but he’s in time to watch the sequence of events that makes Kakashi shatter. Instead of returning to Madara, he chooses to live by his own mantra and refuses to abandon his friend in his time of need. Obito returns to Konoha with Kakashi, and this results in just a few unintended consequences. One of them being his insistence that he should be allowed to care for his late sensei’s orphan son, no matter what the Sandaime might say about the matter. He’s not quite sure how Kakashi becoming his unofficial co-parent fits into this, but he’ll figure it out eventually.

Summary
Johnny survives the fall of the Arasaka Tower, along with the rest of the crew. It’s harrowing, especially when Smasher makes a valiant effort to shoot the chopper down, but they make it. However, Johnny’s just made himself number one on Arasaka’s Hit List yet again, and he’s gotta get outta Night City – fast.
Meeting back up with the Aldecaldo’s after he departed from the family around eight or so years ago, Johnny finds that things are relatively the same. Well, there’s the exception of Santiago’s apparent Second-in-Command who’s a real take-no-shit hard ass and, honestly, a complete and total dick.
Johnny hates him.

Summary
Madara is a sentinel with a mind too violent to be guided. The only thing keeping him going is questionably legal suppressants and his hatred for a certain customer service rep.
Tobirama is a guide who has accidentally killed about quarter of his clientele. The only thing keeping his going is stubbornness and his hatred of, well, everybody.
He is also, unfortunately, Madara's last hope.
