Is it punishment, the thought shot through Marc, when some twisted part of him was enjoying the pain? Craving it, loving it, like Khonshu had said? He desperately wanted to touch himself. Knew he wasn’t allowed to just do so. Not without asking. Without pleading. One more humiliation.
“My lord,” he said, growled out. There was no reverence in his voice, only barely concealed anger and disgust at himself. A curse more than a prayer and it was what Khonshu wanted from him after all. “I beg of you … please.”
Marc prays. Khonshu takes advantage.
