Since people read my bookmarks for story suggestions, this bookmark is first to warn others that the “Complete” status is inaccurate. If you’re like me and set filter to “Complete Works Only”, you might understand how surprised I was to find it incomplete (spitefully so, it turns out by the Author Note… Whether it’s deserved or not, who knows. I just got here.) So I’m saving you some dissatisfaction.
On the other hand, it was a great story with a phenomenal display of an unbalanced-power relationship and an alternate ending to the last book. It ended on a cliff-hanger, unfortunately, which was painful because this is a psychological torture story and I’ll never know how it ends or sticks. Leave a Kudos if you read it.

Zuko could have both if he just reached out his hands, but he found them clutching into fists. After all, he’d been burned one too many times.
But hey, at least between Hakoda and Sokka, Zuko could appreciate the family resemblance of pure, asinine stubbornness.
