Ayato Yuuta 'Yuu' Dazai-Nakahara had only been gone for a month in his world despite having attended a full-years’ worth (and then some) of classes in a world he called Twisted Wonderland. During that month that he was gone, he had been missing. The only person that’s available for him to talk to about Twisted Wonderland and the people there is Ranpo Edogawa, one of his older coworkers. However, not going to therapy comes at a cost. Ayato now has four whole days off of work where he’s outright banned from working. Of course, after a while, he’s bored. Eventually, one day as he lays down to start another day of rotting in bed for the most part, he makes a silent wish that something will happen. Of course, he doesn’t realize this will lead to the people from Twisted Wonderland somehow arriving in Yokohama!
Follow a 19-year-old boy and his -now- much older friends and their kids/wards as they learn how to cope with Ayato’s leave from Twisted Wonderland and how they cope with a few new problems discovered along the way. Including the reality behind Ayato’s origins, his ability, and the secrets that he harbored from all of them. Some of them being ones that could be the key to unlocking a passage between the two worlds.

Dazai had expected life after the Decay of Angels incident to go pretty smoothly. Sure, there were the bumps of the deal Fukuzawa had made with Mori and the Agency's tattered reputation— not to mention the nagging feeling he got whenever he thought of Fyodor— but it was nothing he wouldn't be able to handle with time and an unfortunate amount of effort.
That was of course before he'd received a letter from European wizarding authorities. Well, he might as well make the most of this situation and knock out some of his problems in the process. Better yet, he could drag Chuuya along for the ride.

Affection and love were two very unfamiliar things to them.
But then again, this whole situation was unfamiliar to Q, so it wasn't a surprise that they were finally being treated like a child; after so many years of crying and pleading they finally achieved it.
So, did they have to go back to their own world? Couldn't they just stay here? Where they could be loved and adored as they should've been?
They could finally be rid of their sin. In this new world, nothing they did in the past mattered, their hands that were stained red, would be clean.

“Osamu Dazai” the bird man called up Dazai next, as Dazai calmly walked his way there without a care in the world. “State your name” the mirror asks the same question. “Osamu Dazai” Dazai answered with his usual charm and confidence.
“The nature of your soul is … one that gazes into death without fear, studying and trying to solve the manner and use of life like a puzzle. Sharp-witted, hollow, and dangerously curious, your magic is.. Numbing. You do not fear the abyss… Diasomnia.”

Again, Dazai can’t help the metaphorical and literal chill that runs down his back at hearing the boss’s voice when it isn’t the boss who stands in front of him at all–instead, it's some crow mask wearing dude, who runs a school, instead of the Port mafia.

“Dazai Osamu!” The demon prodigy’s name seems to ring out almost enthusiastically, and there’s an odd glint in Dazai’s eye that almost reaches innocent.
“Hm. Your Soul…Is dark, dour, and twisted. Your magic, despite its strengths, is quite weak, inhumane. You are most suitable for Diasomnia.”

Summary
