A motorcycle roared by outside the lodging house, and they all rushed to the windows to see who it was. who would be out at midnight in the pouring rain? To everyone's surprise it was Spot Conlon. He never came to Manhattan; he knew better with the territory situation than to ever step foot in Manhattan. They all rushed downstairs to ask why he was there, and maybe start a fight since clearly he was looking for one. They all crowded around him, and they started shouting questions at him. Jack pushed his way to the front his arms crossed and looking pissed.
"Why are you here?"
Spot's eyes scanned across the crowd, before sighing heavily. "Where is he?"
"Where's who?"
"Racetrack Higgins."
