No one knows how to deal with this, least of all Madara.
This fic is an exploration of power dynamics and non-verbal consent as well as all the levels in which a shinobi, canonically a person who identifies themselves as a "tool", can can tie themselves into knots in the face of their own wants and desires. Helping Senju Tobirama through a surprise heat without losing his head and ending up fathering a litter on the Uchiha clan's most lethal enemy had been torture. A test of willpower the likes of which Madara never wants to go through again. Juggling his little brother's furious storm of look-at-me-I-hate-you hadn't helped.
The fallout should have been easier by comparison! Just tell the Elders to butt out of his sex life, let Izuna find them a lover that could hold a candle to that bleached bastard,
not feel guilty that Tobirama's own marriage prospects were now ruined,plot behind everyone's backs with the clan leader of their most terrible enemy, not alienate his lovely, paranoid, adorably pining little brother by babying him too much, tell the Elders to butt out of his sex life --Easy.
Meanwhile Izuna despairs of making his brother ever see reason and Tobirama goes dutifully on to his solitary end. See? Easy.

Before he was forced to accompany a pack of rut-muddled idiots on a half-baked plan to kidnap omega brides for the good of the Uchiha clan, Madara hadn't given Hashirama's younger brother much thought. Tobirama was a Senju, and therefore the enemy; he, like Madara and Izuna, was sole survivor of his litter, and so to avoid being alone and therefore unmarriageable had ended up paired up with his older omega brother by default; he was a vicious opponent; he was a beta.
He had to be a beta. Hashirama wasn't, and nobody would be brazen or stupid enough to bundle up two reproductive siblings in the same litter, right?
... Right?

Summary
Senju Tobirama did not smile. Ever. No matter how fervently Izuna and Kagami claimed otherwise. It wasn't like Madara was envious about them witnessing that rare phenomenon. He was just naturally curious and sceptical. So when he deviced a plan (or several of them) to make the bleached bastard smile to find out for himself exactly how pretty it was, it was purely for scientific reasons. Of course it was. The only thing Madara had not bargained for was that he might have accidentally fallen in love with that smile.
EDIT: Currently discontinued in favour of other projects but I WILL return to this, I swear.
