Caught up in the slow, incredibly frustrating, exhausting and impossible task of helping to build a village where his clan and his clan's traditional enemies can live together, Tobirama one day stumbles upon a baby. And keeps her.
No one knows how to deal with this, least of all Madara.
This fic is an exploration of power dynamics and non-verbal consent as well as all the levels in which a shinobi, canonically a person who identifies themselves as a "tool", can can tie themselves into knots in the face of their own wants and desires. Rape warning added because the consent issues are strong enough that some readers expressed discomfort. Please read with caution!
