It should be a moment of celebration, but instead it will be a moment of darkness like no one has ever seen.
WARNING: This fic is much darker than the last, due to the themes of tragedy, captivity and torture. You better have some tissues with you, because this will be a very emotional read. Seriously, I cried while writting this. Have a good read!

We are in Arda, the world where the events of the Legendarium take place. In a 90s-style Aman live two Calaquendi elves.
Fëanor: Noldor punk, with a gruff look, grumpy and easily irritated, but brilliant and much more sensitive than you might expect from him.
Nerdanel: Noldor Elf, with puppy eyes, a kind soul, energetic and a bit of an art nerd. Insecure about her artistic abilities and who is disappointing all the expectations that her parents and her family had made of her, since she is discovering that she is anything but a goody-goody.
Obviously this is an AU of the Silmarillion, with its own context and canonical events changed in the chronology and mixed with real facts of our world. It is a light story that should not be taken too seriously.
IMPORTANT
The two protagonists, their parents and characters clearly older than them are ADULTS.
Even the characters' personalities, as much as I try to make them IC, will be affected by a personal revision, so don't be scared if I'm not 100% faithful to the canonical characters.
Small note: the elves in this fanfiction speak as if they were human but it's how they feel among themselves, in reality they speak as in Tolkien's booksSeries

Summary
A skirmish in space between a Rebel freighter and an Imperial cruiser results in escape pods crash-landing on the deserted world below. Two survivors - one Imperial, one Rebel - have to learn how to work together to survive on a harsh and unknown planet.
This started out as a solitary world-building exercise, turned into an RP, and has subsequently been languishing for a year without any updates. So with the go-ahead of my RP partner, I'm posting it here. I'm hoping to continue this or re-write the whole thing at some point so the perspective isn't so disjointed, but for now I'm just posting it as-is.

Fëanor and his sons (Minus Maglor) have been in the Halls of Mandos for a long time, and frankly, they're getting sick of it. They had been there for three Ages when Mandos offers a deal: manual labor to the north for an undetermined amount of time, but out of his Halls. Of course, all of them leap to accept. The only catch is that Fëanor and his sons have been separated after their reembodiment, and need to find out where they're going. Nerdanel wonders about a rumor of her family returning.
Meanwhile, Finrod and Amarië get distracted by some cool bugs.

In an exclusive Coruscant brothel, sixteen alien courtesans live in luxury. Carefully avoiding galactic politics—until one of them decides to marry an Imperial officer. What should have been a personal affair, turns into a deadly game. When an son of Admiral is found murdered, and the courtesans are unwittingly caught in a web of power struggles, and hidden agendas within the Empire. As Vice Admiral Rampart sends clone trooper Crosshair to uncover the truth, the women realize they may be pawns in a much larger conspiracy. One that could shake the Empire to its core.
The work is more of a novel than a fanfiction. It portrays the Empire as it should be — as a true totalitarian system, without the simplifications seen in canon. The entire story revolves around military themes and the psychology of power, human tragedies, love, and controversial taboos. The use of Star Wars characters here is mostly symbolic. The narrative is not told through the lens of the Force or the Rebellion, but through the perspectives of moffs, admirals, and officers. Nothing is black and white. And when someone dies — they die.
