Harry survived V-Day - because of course he did - but not all the Kingsman agents were so lucky. With the world still going to shit and the worst staff shortage since the organisation began, Merlin calls a group of retired agents back to their posts to help out while he trains the new recruits.
Featuring snowball fights, banter, innuendo, handsome old men, lady scientists, secrets in walking sticks, Harry’s appalling crush, thumbnails of bigger pictures, a pastede on plot crammed in around all the flirting which is really just an excuse for me to write a silly sword fight, and an old bet from 1986 that’s still not been decided.

Summary
Eggsy's already head over heals for Harry; he's apparently adding Merlin to that list, too. Harry doesn't want to admit anything, and, as such, is swimming in denial and perfectly content to do so. Merlin knows what's happening, but because he's absolutely done with everything, he isn't moved to do anything about it. The three are perfectly content in continuing in their non-action, and Roxy's on the side rolling her eyes, completely tired of dealing with this shit. When a solo mission goes awry, however, Eggsy's captured by a crazy fringe group, and they're rushing against the clock to save him. On the way and in the aftermath, Harry and Merlin are forced to come to terms with things they really rather shouldn't.

Harry's got a type, and Eggsy fits it to a T. And it's not that big a deal, Eggsy doesn't care. He's happy with the arrangement, with the three of them together, even if he is only there as eye candy for Harry; just because he's a temporary part of their dynamic doesn't mean he can't enjoy himself.

When Eggsy’s plane lands back at Kingsman HQ after his mission, he quickly thanks the pilot and sets off at a slow jog for a room deep inside the manor. He knocks once when he reaches the big oak door and lets himself into the office where Harry, their recently-appointed Arthur, looks up from a pile of paperwork. Eggsy hides a smile when he sees Harry’s glasses perched on the end of his nose and makes a beeline for the desk.
“'m home. I’ll do my report later,” is all Eggsy says before landing on Harry’s lap, knees on either side of Harry’s hips, and snuggling in.
