Summary
What if the Second Battle of Ruoshui had not been the only disaster to confront the realms and Ye Hua's sacrifice had consequences greater than anyone realized? This story will attempt to explain the differences and overlap between the 2017 Eternal Love and the 2020 Eternal Love of Dream and bridge the two in a single, continuous, yet catastrophic timeline. Summary
Sad reflections on the centuries that Dijun and Fengjiu spent apart after their failed wedding. Fengjiu has disappeared into the mortal realm, where she gives birth to their son, Gun Gun, and struggles to raise an immortal child in an environment that is ill-suited to his magical heritage. There are bittersweet moments as Fengjiu bonds with her precious child even as she lies to him about why they are fairies living as vagabonds in the mortal realm, suppressing their true nature and wandering from one home to the next. But for Dijun, there are only painful, empty days upon days upon days of loss without his beloved Xiao Bai. Alone with his regrets in the face of a crisis that may be his doom, Dijun withers to a shell of the revered Emperor.
Author's Note: Yep. This will be very sad and angsty before DJ and FJ eventually find their way to a happy ending. There are some episodes of the series that I avoid watching too often because I can't take it. Ep. 54 and 55, when our favorite couple are estranged, are high on the list. But Si Ming sent me this, so....

Dong Hua Dijun reflects on Bai Fengjiu's coronation and what it had taken to get her to let go of her obsession with him and assume the throne of her kingdom as she was meant to.
Author's Note: I don't own any of the characters or plot points in this short fanfiction. They're all the work of Tangqi Gongzi and all the creative artists who brought the 2017 Eternal Love to the screen.
Author's Note #2: This is a short, angsty one-shot that portrays Dijun very differently from most of my stories. This Dijun really is the supreme political strategist and iron-willed unifier of the realms that he's described to be in the series. For much of the time, he really is trying to let Fengjiu down easily and cares more about the crisis with Qing Cang and the peace of the realms than he does about yet another lovestruck fairy. It adheres fairly closely to canon, so there will be no happy ending in this snapshot.

This is pure fluff -- no original story at all. It is merely the 2017 Eternal Love Chinese drama from the perspective of Dong Hua Dijun. More precisely, it is the ill-fated yet enduring love between Dong Hua Dijun and Bai Fengjiu as seen through the silver-haired Emperor's eyes. This story begins with Dijun's rescue of Fengjiu in the woods near the Ruoshi River and continues from there.
The Character Death is only in Chapter 20, one of the hypothetical endings. You can avoid it if you don't read that chapter.

Summary
Young Princess Bai Fengjiu is trying to repay a debt to the revered Emperor Dong Hua Dijun by serving as a maid in Tai Chen Palace. However, not long after she arrives there, Dijun's foster sister Zhihe becomes irritated, frames Fengjiu for sending the Mufeng butterfly to the mortal realm, and banishes Fengjiu there as well when her back is turned (for Zhihe certainly would not have been able to do this if Fengjiu had had the chance to defend herself).
When Dijun learns exactly what his foster sister has done, he is not pleased at all, and goes to rescue the Fox King's granddaughter from the primitive mortal realm where she has been trapped.
And thus begins a series of encounters that Fengjiu will have with Dijun in different realms, that will set them on a path to a shared destiny.
In this story, Fengjiu is banished to the mortal realm before she has ever had the chance to be Dijun's pet fox.

Summary
30,000 years after the death and resurrection of Crown Prince Ye Hua, all is right in Heaven Kingdom. Or so the Heavenly Emperor, Hao De Tianjun, had been content to think. But one day after presiding over his imperial court, Tianjun began to feel troubled at one thing that had not greatly bothered him for 30,000 years:
The perpetually empty seat of Qingqiu in his court.
For 30,000 years, Bai Fengjiu, the Queen of Qingqu, had almost never appeared in court, even on the occasions when she visited her aunt in Xiwu Palace.
Though he cannot explain why, Tianjun feels compelled to understand the reason for Qingqiu's empty seat.

Summary
Princess Bai Fengjiu has fallen into the Dream of Aranya, a powerful ward that is like another world all unto itself. She was already heartbroken and confused by Dijun’s coldhearted decision to withhold the Pimpon Fruit, the prize that had been promised to the winner of the competition. Inside the ward, as Fengjiu comes to terms with who Dijun really is, and works to find a way to escape the Dream of Aranya, she also finds the last thing she ever would have expected in her dilemma: love. And the creator of the ward, Shen Ye, is at last able to find peace.
This is an AU exploration of how the Aranya’s Dream Arc might have gone if Dijun had not immediately followed Fengjiu in to rescue her. What if Shen Ye had been the one to rescue her, and Shen Ye and Fengjiu had healed each other's broken hearts? This will be Fengjiu/Shen Ye at first, and ultimately Fengjiu/Dong Hua.
Yas -- this is for you. This is where my brain goes when I think of that scene in Ep. 34 -- the one I refuse to revisit.

AU: Bai Fengjiu, Princess of Qingqiu, enjoys her life in the relaxed, informal kingdom of Qingqiu. She rarely ventures up to Heaven Kingdom because she finds the politics and gossip tiresome. Even Dong Hua Dijun, the legendary immortal she had once admired above all others, has proven himself prone to drama and intrigue, especially after what Fengjiu heard about his false wedding to the Red Demon Princess Ji Heng. Fengjiu is glad that her only connection to Heaven Kingdom is through her aunt, Bai Qian, who marries Crown Prince Ye Hua. But Fate plays tricks on little foxes who try to keep their noses out of trouble. And Fengjiu's delicious sorrowless pastries attract the notice of a certain silver-haired Emperor when they are served at the wedding banquet.
Note: In this AU, DH never saved FJ, she owes him no debt, and never served as his maid or met Zhihe or Ji Heng.

Summary
A sequel of sorts to ‘Careless,’ but can be read as a stand-alone.
In her youth, Bai Fengjiu was quite foolish and impulsive. The only red, nine-tailed fox had naively hoped to repay a life debt to Dong Hua Dijun by serving as a maid in his heavenly palace. Then, in her infatuation with him, she became his pet fox and allowed herself to dream that his affection for her might deepen to something more. A near-fatal encounter with a spiritual snow lion disabused Fengjiu of that notion very quickly and permanently.
This is a tale of a sad little fox who returns to her home in Qingqiu to be healed by the Phoenix Immortal, Zhe Yan. Knowing that she has indeed lost face for Qingqiu, the Fox Princess decides to disappear into the realms as a fox for awhile.
What she doesn’t realize is that Dijun was more attached to his pet fox than she had ever imagined, and that every report of an appearance of a red fox in the realms she visits draws the silver-haired Emperor to investigate.
