One sec cub.” he answered it with cubs voice going out ‘SCAR YOUR IN THE MIDDLE OF—“ The call going to his earpiece cutting him out. “Hey birdie—“ Scar said ignoring cubs distress as he grabbed his bow again shooting an arrow straight through the guy in front of him. “—How are you?” Scar said with a grin immediately getting in a better mood getting to hear his husbands voice.

“Hey, I'm home! I got a bunch of-” Robby announced as he rounded the corner, looking into the bathroom to see Dennis in the bath, clutching a cigarette between pale fingers. The smaller man flinched at the loud noise of the door opening, dropping the cigarette into the clear water. The cigarette went out with a small hiss of hot ash meeting water, smothering the heat almost instantly.
“Shit-” he hissed, refusing to look at Robby and instead focusing on the bathroom tile. Keeping his face hidden by curls and the dim lighting of the shitty bathroom.
“You're smoking? You quit, I thought you were quitting.” Robby asked, even though it was more of a statement; he knew Dennis was trying to quit, they both did. The unspoken reminder of it, in the form of nicotine patches under the sink, enough to last until the next shopping trip, which was a week and a half from now. Dennis seemed fine, using more fidgets than normal, but it was manageable, having been using a chewable rubber necklace whenever it felt really bad.

“Grian!” A bloody hand rested on his cheek. Jolting, Grian slammed his head into the ceiling above him. Or, he almost did, really. Instead of hitting his head on rock, he hit his head against Etho’s palm. Blinking past the panic, he looked at his dad. Etho took a dramatic breath. Copying him, Grian just—watched him. “It’s going to be fine.”
“What do you mean it’s going to be fine? I’m pregnant and we’re—” I’ve been Cute Guy-ing it up while pregnant. I could have killed them. I could have killed my and Scar’s baby. “What have I done?”
