“Are you sure you guys will be ok?” Knuckles scrutinized the look on Sonic's face, although he mostly seemed upset having to entrust someone else with his job. Having to ask for a babysitter to handle his twins didn't feel right.
“Yes, we are ok! Your little angels won't be much trouble. If anything I can give them a ride to help them sleep-” Before Sonic could finish Knuckles interjected.
“Sonic I'm being serious. If anything comes up, call me or Rouge.” He crossed his arms, “Call me in an hour or two.”
“Hey, Shadow and I got this under control. Is not the first time we babysit- I babysit.” Sonic held the doorknob playing with it to turn it. Looking from his side eye he noticed Shadow. “Be rest assured nothing will happen.”

“What are you doing?” Varka asks, a little breathless.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Flins rubs his palm into the meat of Varka’s inner thigh, not giving up on touching the other man. “Surely you must know I am just as interested in you as those women.”
The hand around Flins’ wrist tightens as Varka’s breath hitches in his throat. “You’re lying. You have to be pulling my leg here.”
A soft sigh leaves Flins’ lips. Of course, Varka doesn’t know that about the fae, which isn’t his fault really. “Fae cannot lie, Sir Varka.” A pause. “Is it that you do not want it, that you do not want me?”
“I want it,” Varka blurts out immediately, as if he has already known his answer this whole time but just needed a little push in the right direction. “I want you so bad. It’s been plaguing my mind for months.”
