Summary
Amamiya Ren was six years old when he lost his family to metal and fire, a tragedy birthed under a sickly green moon. Nearly a decade later, an unexpected scholarship to Gekkoukan High brings him back to the city where he lost everything but his life.
Things in the Port Island aren't what they seem, however. Plagued by strange dreams and an even stranger 25th hour, Ren is thrown into a supernatural battlefield between man and the monsters their minds created. If he wants to survive, all he has to do is turn away. If he wants answers, however, Ren will have to fight.

Summary
At age fourteen, Kurusu Akira kills the only cognitive psientist to object to Shido’s methods under the latter’s orders. His hand doesn’t tremble as he pulls the trigger, but his heart breaks. Still, it’s worth it. It’s the first step towards freedom, and more importantly, his revenge.
Two years later, cursed child Akechi Goro is caught shoplifting, and after a brief chase gets slammed into the pavement by three police officers double his size. The only reason he can't slip out of their grasp is because he hasn't eaten in three days. It earns him a one-way ticket to Tokyo.
(Or, Akechi leads the Phantom Thieves of Hearts while Akira is the Detective Prince. Despite that change, however, Crow is still Crow, and Joker is still Joker.)
