Summary
Phil had had a certain image in his head when the police had knocked on his door informing him that a shapeshifter had been caught living as a dog in the local park and that said shapeshifter had recently used Phil's 14-year-old son's visage for purposes unknown. Yet, upon going to confront this shapeshift, instead of what he'd expected, he found a terrified 7-year-old racoon hybrid. When Phil was told they were struggling to find someone to foster him after all of the stunts he'd pulled, there was really only one thing Phil could do.
Tommy is not particularly enthused to be fostered by the man whose son's face he'd stolen. Foster families were bad enough without already having a reason to hate him and without a lock on his powers. There was no kind reason Phil would want him in his custody. He just needs to figure out what type of bad it will be.
(Yes, I'm writing a story with the same basic premise once again. Yes, I am doing so in a genre that is oversaturated on this site. No, I will not apologize.)

Summary
As he relaxed and ate, his mind wandered elsewhere. He contemplated about staying.
It wasn't so bad! The bird's singing and chirping was really nice. The trees kept him company. The flowers were nice but he didnt want to hurt them by picking them. And even if the monsters came out at night, the ugly and the useless who belonged in the woods, Tommy didn't mind them. That's what the neighbourhood kids called him anyway.
With a full stomach and legs that were tired, he was easily fatigued. He figured to rest his eyes a little won't be so bad. He'll get up in a minute.

Phil ran a hand through his curls and smiled sadly at him. “I know you have a soft spot for them.”
Wilbur elbowed him. “Got that from you, old man.”
Phil gave a small chuckle, face falling quickly after. “But you’re possibly going to see some abused kids and child labor.”
He looked him directly in the eyes. “And you won’t be able to heal them.”
Wilbur’s body tensed.
That was true. He was going on a spy mission, so he couldn’t draw attention to himself. He couldn’t let himself get attached.
He would have to let children suffer for the greater good of getting them out of it entirely.
Or, Wilbur goes. I can handle this. I can stay stern and not heal the poor abused children.

Summary
Tommy, a phoenix hybrid, had been living in a pit (an illegal fighting ring) for four years as nothing more than property. He would constantly fight for his life and struggle to remain strong. When a special opportunity appeared, he takes a chance, a leap of faith, and escapes. But not before vowing to take down all of the pits like it and free the thousands trapped in their clutches. And maybe he meets some new allies on the way.

Or: After two weeks in L'manberg and everything seeming perfect, Tommy's life flips upside down again. This time because Sally has put a reward over his head. Now he has to go through a custody battle between his parents, hoping only one will win. Throughout it all things just can't go right.

Summary
The thing about Prism’s powers is that he is able to create items out of pure light. And his light is apparently the strongest known material in Esempi. And Tommy was tied up in it.
So Tommy was fucked.
That was until something truly strange happened. A fizzing feeling settled in his gut as the rope started sparking and warping until it burst into a shower of sparks disappearing entirely. Freeing Tommy.
So Tommy did the first thing he could think of.
He kicked Prism in the balls.
The hero groaned loudly in pain, allowing Tommy time to spring up into his raccoon form, jumping from building to building up to the rooftops again. He looked back, surprised, in his Mellohi form, to find the hero still completely frozen in shock.
Well that was weird, Tommy admitted, decidedly not dwelling on it any longer. He had to get back, or Tubbo would have his head.
