What I wanted to write was a quick one-shot that explored the idea of Harry being the biological son of Voldemort, only Voldemort doesn't know he has a son and is also as evil as ever. Meanwhile, Harry is just a charismatic kid with a snake and ridiculously powerful magic.
It turned into a series rewrite.

Summary
Whitaker has about half a second to gloat in the fact that his hookup was waiting at the door for him—before several terrible realizations crash down onto him all at once.
Because Dr. Robby is the one that opened the door. And the number for the apartment is right next to his head (521) meaning Whitaker didn’t accidentally knock on the wrong unit. Which means that Dr. Robby is R, is his hookup, is the one who promised to fuck him, and called him a slut—and oh my god, Whitaker called him daddy.

Dr. Robby reaches out to him, tugs at the collar of his shirt, Dennis has never been more aware of the way it shows the sharpness in his collarbones and the shiny gold of his chain than he is right now. Asks him, “Ran out of scrubs?” all easy, like the heat of his fingers aren’t burning Dennis raw. He’s scared to look at Robby, scared to look at Abbot. A little worried about how he’s pretty sure his chest is turning red from the blush too. They glance at each other, unreadable, but he’s sure it’s something in their weird secret shorthand, and Robby pulls Dennis away from the row of lockers, dragging him along by the collar. It stretches a little further than it should, and Dennis hears a few stitches pop. He probably shouldn’t have been wearing this shirt out in public even before, but especially not now.
