Summary
Yugi wants to spend his summer working his family's arcade, navigating a kindling relationship with his best friend, and exploring and photographing abandoned buildings in the mid-sized desert town he calls home. They say the most important thing about exploring said abandoned buildings is the only thing you should take is photos, and you should only leave your footprints behind.
Yugi, unfortunately, has failed step one.

But something is strange about the manor, and even stranger about the mysterious Lord Sennen. And Yugi starts to feel less like an honored guest.

The Enclave is Arcade’s figurative gold cross necklace at the bottom of the knapsack. JJ won’t ask the questions burning at his tongue, and Arcade won’t willingly give answers. An equal give and take, without the actual giving and taking. And Arcade is comfortable in that, really he is - his jokes and sarcasm and friendship can be easily won things, but his trust is a hard fought battle that not many people outside of the Remnants have ever seen, and it’s always been safer that way. He wishes he could just switch off the paranoia that set in his ribs as a kid, but he knows it’s not as easy as he thinks it will be.
Arcade wishes that he could let JJ in.

While every other officer seems to be selling out and taking bribes from the mysterious, and dubious, Hydra Corporation, Steve Rogers seems like the only honest cop left in New York City. Bribery and Hydra are the last thing on his mind when a deadly and infamous mercenary going only by "The Winter Soldier" shows up and starts causing problems in his work life. He's positive it's a coincidence that his childhood best friend - and childhood crush - Bucky Barnes rolls back into their hometown at the same time. He's 100% sure.

It was silent for a moment, Cardin's fingers still tracing invisible lines on his skin, and Jaune still trying to wrap his brain around coherency, before the blond finally spoke.
