Heeseung is already awake when Jake wakes up.
Jake looks at him, half asleep, and lifts a warning finger. “No,” he says.
Heeseung lifts himself up in one forearm, looms over him just a little bit. “No?” he asks. He sounds so playful. The early morning brushes against the salt-and-pepper of his hair and Jake needs to close his eyes, needs to turn away from Heeseung’s hungry little smile, his knowing eyes.
“It’s very early,” Jake says, “and you had me last night. You’re an insatiable monster and I can’t believe I married you”.(Or: Jake and Heeseung grow up. The ghosts appear.)

"N-Ni-ki... p-please stop" he softly pulled the hem of Ni-ki's shirt. Afraid Heeseung would attack him again like last time
"Heeseung hyung. Calm the fuck down. Our manager is coming we don't want them to know about this right?" Jungwon stood up.
"Tell that to that brat! He's spitting nonsense"
"Nonsense? I'm just curious, if that happens, would you really kick Sunoo hyung out of the group?"

In the morning, Jake leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to Heeseung’s forehead before slipping quietly out of bed. He headed downstairs where sunlight was peeking in through the windows and warming the house.

Jake resists slapping his hand to his head. Sunoo is the PR wizard, sure, that's why he's Jake's manager, but sometimes he's too direct. Jake really thought they'd spend at least five minutes trading pleasantries, five more minutes for him to prepare. Instead he's left feeling as shocked as Heeseung and Jungwon look.
"Excuse me?" Jungwon says at the same time Heeseung growls out an undignified "What?"

Riki gives him a skeptical look, hugging the back of the couch cushion even closer to his chest. Jungwon watches them intently, hands back in the pumpkin, orange strands hanging from his cheeks. From far away they look like clumps of spider eggs growing out of his skin, and with Jungwon’s dark, unblinking boba eyes, Jake feels unnerved looking at him. He shifts his gaze back to Riki.
“You promise?” Riki asks at last. “Promise that nothing bad will get us.”
“Of course I promise.” Jake holds out his pinky, the most sacred of all promises. Jungwon even gasps at the gesture. “Nothing bad is going to get you.”
Or: Jake wants to get through this night of Halloween babysitting in peace, but his best friend, his crush, and the strange guy that seems to be following him around are making it very difficult.

Heeseung must have picked up on the uncomfortable air around Jake as he starts to fidget with the silver ring on his pointer finger.
“Um, I can tell you are in a bit of a hurry so I won’t hold you two up any longer,” Heeseung says after a moment. “See you around, Jake” Heeseung waves at Jake, “And be good for your appa, Daehyun,” he says to the boy in the stroller.
When Jake finally walks into the elevator, he hears Heeseung speak up again.
“Feel free to knock on my door if you ever need anything,” he says.
There’s something in the way he says it that makes Jake falter, his mask slipping for a second. Was that…pity? Before Jake can say anything more, the doors have closed, and Heeseung is gone.

After being happily married for five years, suddenly Jay and Jake’s relationship takes a turn for the worse and starts to wilt. With a distant partner, needy baby, and hot new neighbor added into the mix, how will Jake cope with all this added stress?

Heeseung pushed the younger off him by kicking him in the stomach with his knee, he quickly opened the bedroom door and immediately saw a gigantic white bed that looked very welcoming. Sunghoon looked over Heeseung’s shoulder, “the bed is big enough for the two of us.” the older scoffed, giving Sunghoon a weird look. “I am sure as hell not sleeping in the same bed as you. I am older therefore I get the bed.”
“You’re so egocentric it’s making me sick, you’re lucky that I am too tired to fight with you but I hope you get eaten by bed bugs.” You could hear in Sunghoon’s voice how exhausted he was but so was Heeseung and the older wanted the bed so he was getting the bed.
Heeseung chuckled. “Bed bugs? really? What are you, five?”
