That was the point of pet names, right? To call your partner something sweet that no one else can? Max had been calling Nugget ‘Nugget’ throughout his whole life, even now as they were dating. Did that have to.. change?
But what if it sounded.. weird coming out of his mouth? Was there something in hidden social standards that said he couldn’t call his boyfriend the same pet name back? It would probably be best to not risk offending his Nugget like that, even if at best the idea of that sounds honestly ridiculous. And it had to be.

Larry trails off. He looks down at Bob, clearly wondering *why* he didn’t tell Larry that this episode was going to be about homosexuality, and Bob admits mentally that it was stupid.
“Well, Rob! We’ve got a story that will answer your questions! It takes place long ago in a desert city called Sodom.” Bob pipes up, once again feeling like he’s going to sweat bullets. He waves his letter, a sign for the cameras to cut. Then, he breathes a sigh.
“Bob…” Larry says after a moment. “It woulda been nice to have a stem-up on this one.”
“I-I know, Larry, but at the same time, it’s not like I can sit everyone down around the faucet and go, ‘alright folks, let’s work on something about homosexuality.’ So I just kinda… wrote this one on my own. Last night.”
“Yeah, but then… why write it in the first place? Why choose this email over a kid who’s mad at his friend for not sharing?”
