Summary
In hindsight, I should have seen it coming. Our last missions had been too easy because honestly, killing council members wasn't exactly that hard if you actually thought about it. And added with the fact that she was the last one and knew we were coming for her next, we were prepared for the retaliation we would face. Just not ready to meet HER. But can you blame me? I mean, who wouldn't be at least slightly shocked to meet their soulmate on a mission to assassinate the matriarch?

Summary
All her life, Korra has trained to be the ultimate Avatar. The only family that she knows have taught her the ways of the Red Lotus. Under their guidance, she has mastered three elements and has developed an unique style of airbending. Lessons in spirits have allowed Korra to connect to the Spirit World. Yet, she still feels trapped. The elders do not yet believe Korra is ready for a mission on her own. At the same time, discontent is brewing in Republic City and the power of the Council is waning as the Equalists gain support. The elders believe it is time to strike and Korra is eager to prove herself.
Book 1: Power is a rewrite of Book 1: Air where Korra was raised by the Red Lotus. The overall story arc is the same but most details have been changed.

Soooo I was so upset that we didn't get to see more of Kuvira in Korra so I felt the need to fix that.
This is set after The Last Stand. Kuvira must stand trial and answer for her actions. However Korra thinks the former dictator is worthy of redemption even though Asami disagrees.
Lots of crying, feels , and family drama.
