Summary
Haunted by increasingly sexual dreams of Uhtred, King Alfred struggles leading Wessex whilst battling his sinful desires. As rumours of a new Dane force spread, Alfred defies Uhtred's advice and sets off on a journey to protect Mercia's lands, and hopefully find divine guidance. It all goes wrong when Alfred is captured by the new Dane army. When Uhtred rides to save him he too is captured. The two men are forced into closeness in an underground dungeon as tensions in Wessex rise, and Aethelflaed, and Uhtred's men are on the hunt to rescue them.

Now the brights graciously gifted their rays upon the stargazer, inviting the mortal not to see them but to see through them. And suddenly all was bright, dispersed white sparks beamed amidst the nihility of coal-black sky, yet all was bright.
Even a blind man would be dazzled by it.
“What leads you to suppose that I need you as my companion?” he refuted, surprisingly without a trace of bitterness.
“Just so you won’t lose your way,” Uhtred grinned.
Perhaps he was dazzled as well.
“Then we go.”
So they trod the path.

Summary
Rätselhafte Frauenmorde halten Münster in Atem und die Polizei tappt im Dunkeln. Da trifft es sich gut, dass ein schnuckeliger Kommissar aus Hamburg in die Stadt versetzt wird und ausgerechnet in Boernes Nachbarwohnung einzieht.
Bald muss Boerne jedoch feststellen: Der Neue hat ein Geheimnis. Nichts ist so, wie es scheint, und Liebe ist Blut ist Leben ist Tod ist Sehnsucht... ist Crack ist Fluff ist Romance ist Comfort ist irgendwie alles.
Ich wollte Thiel als Vampir-Cop und das passte einfach so gut zu seinem Charakter, dass sich die Geschichte beinah von selbst geschrieben hat.Bookmarked by JSunfall

Die Geschehnisse aus Fiderallala unter dem Vergrößerungsglas. Thiel und Boerne ringen mit ihren Gefühlen, als die Nachwirkungen der Studierendenparty sie vor die Frage stellen, wie es mit ihrer Beziehung weitergehen soll.

Auf jeden Fall würde Thiel ihm unter keinen Umständen noch mal auf die Brust oder den Bauch schauen, das war total unangebracht, überhaupt war diese ganze Situation absurd, warum stand er mit dem Hemd von einem fremden Mann, seinem Vermieter, hier im Flur und warum hatte der auch sein bescheuertes Hemd öffnen müssen, auf die paar Minuten kam es doch jetzt wirklich nicht mehr an, sowas gehörte sich echt nicht. Hatte der überhaupt kein Schamgefühl? Nicht dass er sich schämen müsste für seinen Körper, das nun nicht –
Ah, scheiße. Schnell schnappte er mit den Augen wieder hoch zu Boernes Gesicht.

Wieso ist Boerne auf einmal so fürsorglich? Thiel versteht das Verhalten des Professors nicht.E-Rating für ein Kapitel, aber die Story ist auch ohne dieses verständlich.

And for what? To walk his way in a … let’s say, peculiar place.
With an enchanted mask on, as everyone in this place. He walked in, observant as the sex workers did their jobs. Sitting eagerly on client’s laps feeding them food they pay a ridiculous amount of money, taking orders and walking around to offer their service. Clothes in this place varied from respectable coverage to absolute insanity of ludicrous sensual show by the simple absence of fabric.
And there were dancing performances on the stage.
Severus was too old. It was too late for him. He wasn’t desirable in the slightest. Not that he ever was.
