Gempa stepped forward, unsure, the others—Halilintar, Taufan, Blaze, Ice, Thorn, and Solar—watching behind him with quiet hope. He glanced at BoBoiBoy, worry tightening his expression, then offered a small, gentle smile.
“Um… why don’t you want to hang out with us?” he finally asked.
BoBoiBoy blinked at them, expression unreadable. “I’ve never really been wanted before,” he said flatly. “So I didn’t think that suddenly changed.”
BoBoiBoy never imagined he’d end up inside the very book his friends had given him. Even if he still couldn’t believe it was real, he was determined to make the most of this new life—and maybe even give his favorite character the happiness he deserved. If only the others would stop hovering around him and trying so hard to get to know him.

On page thirty-two of Demonology for the Proactively Self-Destructive, there’s a warning. Beware honeyed words, beware beautiful flesh—for a demon may offer your deepest desire, and you may give your very soul, but it will remain unfulfilled. A lot of words to put in an annotation above the spell to summon a succubus, but it boils down to this: she may look good, but she’ll destroy you before she gives you what you want.
Dylan can’t read it without laughing. It’s such tripe, there’s no way whoever wrote it actually tried the spell. A cubus always gives you exactly what you want—that’s how it destroys you.
